Yeah I know. But with everything else wrong with this game they probably shouldn’t be banning people still playing this broken mess as it stands, and totality of the circumstances and all that. I find it comical to be honest.

I get bugs happen and exploits should be punished. But in this case there is so much wrong with this, something like this is the last thing they should be worried about. They should be aiming to keep as many people playing on streams as possible because this thing is not selling and has so much bad press around it now, this is the last thing they need. Because some (not all mind you) gamers will view this as sanctimonious developer bullshit given the state they launched this game in and lied about multiple features. Pot calling the kettle black as far as I am concerned myself.
I get it, and I agree that the game is messy. I am also sure Gladd is just milking the drama for $$ on youtube, if he wants the account back he'll get it back.

anyone else have the issue the audio completely stop working?
Lots of people, it is a known bug with the Frostbite engine that hasn't been solved for years. Best you can do is adjust your audio settings to 24bit/44khz or 16bit/44khz.

Yep, i was thinking before my premier expires theyd fix white and greens in GM - but when you have ppl undergeared allowed to queue up and be dragged around its annoying. You cant quickly leave because load times are absurd and plentiful. Not to mention anyone can queue up for GM2-3 and hope for carry thus more potential annoyances. Can slug through it for quite some time and still get whites, or get server disconnect, no sound upon entry or stronghold, or stronghold locked out for whatever unknown reason. I want it to be better, but it seems like it was pushed out the door - 3 strongholds, contracts, and the worse implementation of freeplay that could have possibly been conceived.

Part of this problem is that people think their Gear Score matters in terms of ability / performance. Like my 494 build is complete trash compared to a focused 461 build. So some people think they are prepared for Gm1 or higher just because of a gear score, when in reality they are not. Content isn't really an issue, Anthem could have released with 6 strongholds, but people would farm the easiest one and just do the others for novelty or a daily. I don't understand the dislike for the Freeplay zone, it works quite well whether you go in solo or with a group. If you go in solo at Gm1 and complain about not doing events, that is on you... only go solo Freeplay on a difficulty you can handle efficiently. So what exactly is your issue with it?

How could that get past Sony certification? Sounds like something both BioWare and Sony missed.

It might also be a hardware age thing, Fan not working PS4 gets hot and can't throttle itself down too cool off, so shutdown before the CPU and GPU get fried.

Considering how ridiculous the PC version taxes the CPU and heats the shit out of your system , this sounds like a legit possibility.

Except it’s happening to people with PS Pros.

No Zind - its retarded because of scale vs player. Destiny has much smaller maps but allows much more people to play in it - That is the problem - its a big open area of nothing and also unlike Destiny you cant even see where the shit is - you need to constantly fly around until you happen upon things. I can handle GM2 solo but the issue is that going in solo in general or with a group you guys are still all flying around seeking shit. Its not like youre trying to explore and sight see, most people go in to farm events and the current set up for doing it is pure lazy. The entirety of freeplay as a whole is very un-intuitive and feels like it was just tossed out there without any thought on how to make it enjoyable for a long period of time. If they would triple the allowed player count in freeplay then that would go a long way to making the world feel lively but honestly speaking it needs a 16-20 player cap in it.

They screwed the pooch with item progression. Should have gone a route similar to what they already did with the crafting of the weapons / seals whereby you earn the ability to craft a tier by using the current tier. Do that all the way up and then have a series of achievements to do at 30 which unlocks the Masterwork variant of that item.

As it is you hit 30 and then a rain of Masterwork comes into your life which makes a huge leap in overall stats, but then you are stuck just farming for the Masterwork and Legendary you want vs the ones you have. That jump could easily have been replaced by a more linear progression.

They also need to fix the missions and contracts that bug out. Nothing like doing a QuickPlay, going through a couple mins of load screens only to end up in a mission you have to abandon.

Nahh, progression, in the current itemization they have going, should be in the inscriptions themselves...

For instance GM1 inscriptions roll 50-100%, GM2 100%-150%, and GM3 150%-200%

This way there is a natural progression as you step up in difficulty.

Have you really spent that much time in Freeplay? It honestly doesn't sound like you have, since from my experience the zone is kinda small. Flying around in a 4-man group feels just about right, with events popping at a decent pace as you move. Even going in solo is alright, but of course you would have to like moving around. Having up to 15 others in the zone would make it pretty dead, in regards to events at least, since everyone would be spread out and doing them. Being able to see an event pop on the other side of a zone would be of no use if its done by the time you got there. Flying around is rather cool, and comparing that to Destiny now makes the patrol zones in Destiny seem really "lazy" since you can fast travel to within a few seconds of most events. Just a matter of taste, I guess.

I've spent the majority of my playing time in freeplay and tyrant mine, with id say 60% of it being in freeplay solo until my jav couldnt carry more loot. However yeah its a matter of taste, id rather have lively zones where i see other people and maybe catch the tail end of an event or all around miss it than just some empty desolate area deprived of people and anything other than eye candy.

Yeah the way they have free play set up is beyond what they also led to for expectations of people in the lively world they built. 4 people (Yourself included so really 3 others) and sporadic events in which you have to find them on your own, and who knows where those other 3 people are, is just flat out broken. One thing I liked about Destiny was major events were on the Map. There was a countdown timer to prep. Everyone saw it (More than 3 others too) and about 10 seconds before said event started we had more than enough to make it fun.

I am not sure what these people were doing for the last 7 years, but they sure as hell didn't do any research on what worked and what didn't with Destiny because they not only took the bad parts of Destiny and implemented them, they also took the positive parts about Destiny and completely didn't even bother implementation.

With Division 2 coming out now, Anthem will die - no ifs ands or buts about it.

Freeplay is on-par with a lot of other games and the bullshit grinding of [collect 15 possum balls] type chores. Like Zindan Zindan said though, the flying around makes it more enjoyable than bullshit like Destiny1 had. The loops for crafting materials in D1 was some of the most boring shit I've ever done.

I would agree with flying if it still didn't hold you to a ground path anyway. You cannot fly over anything to reach a new area while utilizing flight. And that, in free play, makes it a glorified ground mount to me. Tried multiple times to get over land masses to another area of the map and it forces you down.
