I suggest doing your own database rebuild once a month. Really helps performance and is overall good maintenance.
Power down console completely.
Wait 30 seconds until you see no lights.
Plug in your dual shock via usb
Hold the power button down for seven seconds until it beeps
That forces safe mode and select rebuild database.
Usually takes 3-10 minutes.
Going to take a gamble on division 2 on ps4
Over X1X after doing this and hope that resolved some of the issues I had on my pro.
But overall, it’s a good idea to do this once a month.
And if you play anthem, hell, it will do it for you automatically once a week!

Another BS rumor I've been seeing is that Sony is doing "No questions asked" refunds. I work IT for a massive multiple company call center, one of which is Playstation, and they aren't refunding shit.

Oh get fucked. Bricked doesnt have to mean complexly and forever broken. Some 13 year old kind and his mom and dad should need to understand how to put a console in safe mode or even think about rebuilding a data base.

Nahh, its not that. there are people though, not here, that actually go out of their way to shit on games. Like over and over, and make fun of people still playing. I know this game has issues but there is still something about it, a redeeming quality, that most games dont have. I was reading the somethingawful forum about this game, and the thought came to mind, thats all. I hate to post there because the place is a toxic wasteland.
I find it odd how people are about shit like this. I mean, I dont like 89.76% of games here people post about, but I dont go there and shit on the forum, regurgitating shitty memes and laughing at all the dumb folks that play them, you know? I find this behavior fascinating and at the same time kind of odd, dont you think? People are fucking weird.

Why are there so many apologists excusing crashing consoles and having to rebuild from safe mode? This isn't 1997 when PC devs had no idea what hardware you might have. This is a 15+ year AAA studio working on hardware that's been final for YEARS. Fucking Stockholm syndrome in here.

Hard crashing a console shouldn’t get passed certification. I actually blame Sony on this one. We all know EA is unethical as fuck, so the onus is on Sony. Certification is a joke anyway.

My guess here is that the game isn’t at fault but it’s triggering some thermal condition that results in the console going into a safety made to avoid damage. So technically the game is pushing it to the extremes but the PS4 subsystem is doing what it’s suposed to - shut down hard to avoid damage. I could be wrong but it would be really impressive for a sub process on a console to segfault so hard that the kernel panics.
If that’s truly the case the frostbite engine would be at fault, which is not something BioWare can control. EA owns that one.

I had Anthem crash my PS4 last night, but it was a strange situation. I was done for the night, and decided to close the application because I wanted to check something else before going to bed, and it crashed the PS4 while closing.
Anyways, finally hit 30 last night. I tried 1 quickplay at GM1 to see how it was. It wasn't so bad, got a fairly easy mission though.
Looking forward to the gear grind now.

When do you start seeing loot drops above rare? I think I just hit 19 last night, haven't seen anything higher than rare yet.
Also, someone here posted that they do freeplay by flying along the side of the of the entire map (keep the map edge on your right). I tried that last night and it was pretty damn fun trying to make it to the next waterfall to cool thrusters before they overheated. I got a whole lot more events done in an hour that way, too.
Now I need two more of those Unobtainiun/goat balls thing to craft the shield of dawn, but can't find a titan.

Strongholds in your 20’s will give you purples consistently.
Edit...for goat balls? Do the triple threat quest as you kill 3 titans.

I don't know where to get the triple threat quest, and no idea if I already did it. I completed Dax's quest and got one goat ball for that, but there's no other quests showing up as being available on the Fort Tarsis map.
