It's even worse than all that. Lawan is what Rosario Dawson (which was a terrible idea and waste of money to begin with) looks like after SBI gets ahold of her. Also the character is fucking insufferable and a large part of why DL2 is trash compared to DL1 even though Techland has spent a year and a half trying to salvage the game.

Combat is gonna be boring but damn does this game look good and the bosses are really well done with great animations and diverse move sets. Some fun gimmicks in the gameplay too like shifting into boss chars to use their skills gacha style. So far everything I’ve seen’s been linear pathways that connect lots of mini boss fights. I think that could still be cool if it’s interesting enough, just don’t go into this one expecting an Elden ring sized game

I watched a similar video yesterday, I am excited that it isn't a souls like clone. The combat looks fun to me. Though I have grown used to using it, I don't love the parry game play loop.

The other video from yesterday convinced me that this was definitely something to get from GameFly and a pre-order was completely out of the question.

one of the biggest unreal engine 5 games so should be interesting, trailer looks absolutely insane but UE5 + probably hundreds of chinese devs gotta help with that.

Would definitely be a good reason to play on PC vs console with UE5, although it'll be interesting to see digital foundry compare them all and see what effects DLSS, RTX etc have. a game on my radar for sure but don't really see any reason to play day 1. Some fake review going around claiming its a 90 hour game but its been debunked as a fake 4chan thing
