Maps are still nice for the DS2 guide. And the guides do look great on a shelf anyhow. Those hardcover guides are only good as doorstops after From gets done patching their games a couple times anyway.
This... Ludwig's Sword will be nerfed. Too many people are using it and From nerfs shit that "too many" use. Poison daggers will be nerfed too I bet. Those hardcover guides are only good as doorstops after From gets done patching their games a couple times anyway.
Yeah, I agree they should bring the other weapons up to par instead of nerfing Ludwig's. Nerfing it isn't the answer but like you said that is what From usually does.Ludwig is just the claymore of Bloodborne. Nerfing it would be really stupid of them. Fixing the bug with Kirkhammer's 2H attacks, and making saw weapons actually do more damage to all beasts like the description implies they should would go a long way towards making other weapons used as much as Ludwig is.
You're right though, From does tend to nerf things solely because they are popular, regardless of whether or not they are actually unbalanced.
They are pretty bland to be honest. I was like these are cool at first after running five it becomes very boring. imho.Starting to run chalice dungeons and completed 2 of them. I know they get harder but it looks really tedious completing them all.
Ya, that's what I meant. I won't replay anything that the guide would be useful for.I bet you will when DLC comes out for it. (But that's not going to be in the guide anyhow though)
yeah the first 3 or 4 i cleared EVERYTHING including the little side "loot areas" but then just stopped giving a shit and skipped mobs and ran straight for bosses. one of the chalices drops the beast claws in a specific layer and side loot area, not worth doing any of the other areas. They are pretty bland to be honest. I was like these are cool at first after running five it becomes very boring. imho.
It's a little better with the short chalice, but that's a decently high barrier to entry. I wonder too why they put the one bell pretty deep in the game (10 insight) compared to DS1 and 2.Chalice dungeons would be much better if they were built around co-op, even Destiny had better matchmaking at launch than BB, but I imagine multiplayer wasn't a priority for From.
When there is no other way down, that is the end. I DID have a 4th floor once to a chalice, so always run around the room and just make sure.I just started doing Chalices to see them, only did the first one, but how do u know when u are done with them? I beat the fire guy on level 3 of the first one and never found a way down to the next... So how do u know when you're done?
Moon presence IS the final boss. After you beat it you get a cinematic and then NG+. If you want to do something else in your game, do it now, before you beat the Moon Presence.Okay 1 shotted gherman and used a hunter blood thingie to go back to hunters dream when I encountered Moon presence. Can I kill it and do the same thing before the final final boss or no? Ate the 3 umbilical pieces already
I started a new character, and I'm up to the point where I've killed witch and BSB (no vicar). Killed the last boss in the 2nd depth dungeon pretty easily. Third depth Pth the trash takes me like 4 swings; 2nd depth we sometimes one shotting. There's definitely a significant jump in difficulty between depths.I've beat the first 3 Chalice Dungeons. But I'm finding them really bored and bland. I know it gets a lot more difficult but not sure I have it in me to Platinum this.
Wish I read this b4 killing it....lol I got the good ending and all the optional bosses but missed a good deal of runes and such. Not sure if I'm gonna play through ng+ or start a new character but definitely time to take a break after 45 hours playtime. God I want dark souls 3Moon presence IS the final boss. After you beat it you get a cinematic and then NG+. If you want to do something else in your game, do it now, before you beat the Moon Presence.
