Okay 1 shotted gherman and used a hunter blood thingie to go back to hunters dream when I encountered Moon presence. Can I kill it and do the same thing before the final final boss or no? Ate the 3 umbilical pieces already
Ya, you screwed yourself out of getting the other two endings unless you have a save backup from before you are the umbilical cords

yeah its crazy how much small stuff you can miss, i pretty much killed all the NPCs you could be friendly with (eileen, adelle, beggar guy) but fortunately it didn't block any of the plat achieves. I think the only really big ones are killing ios too early and not backing up your game before the last 2 bosses.

also crazy to think cainhurst and upper cathedral are completely optional zones, you never see that anymore in Western games. If there is a path in the game the devs feel they have to force you to explore it so they don't get dinged for being too short.

i wonder what the DLC plans for the game are

I just beat the game yesterday with very little regard for how ready I was for NG+. I think the only things I missed out on were some gems and gestures. I noticed that I am only 5 or 6 trophies away from plat and two of them are endings, one is collecting weapons. It's nice that From didn't fill trophies with bullshit just to waste your time. I messed up almost every single NPC interaction in my first game and still did pretty well. Didn't save a single NPC & Eileen was killed by Haryk.

Im hoping Dlc has a ton of content in the chance they withheld some stuff with that intention going forward.

In regards to what I missed, thinkin about backing up my saves and reinstalling using the dupe to get back to 75ish and focus on 2 completely different weapons from the get go. Ludwigs and kirkhammer wont get touched instead maybe stake driver and the cane.

My ng+ guy ill use burial blade as the scythe is badass

can you Kneel to Annalise as well as give the summons to Alfred to kinda do both things?
Yep.
Do all the Alfred stuff and kill Annalise. She will drop Queenly Flesh that you can use to resurrect her at the altar behind Ebrietas once you kill it. Then go knock out any Vileblood stuff you need

All that stuff is worthless anyway. The two runes have pretty much no effect at all, Alfred's isn't even a real covenant, and turning in one dreg to Annalise is all that's necessary to get the gesture if you even care about that. There's nothing else to the Vileblood covenant beyond that, just a leaderboard full of cheaters that you'll never catch up to.

You do need to give Alfred the summons (or just kill him) if you want the weapon trophy, that's it.

All i can say is fuck you RoM, not had any real issues on any bosses at all but I was stuck on him for a good 1hour or so last night.

Glad i brought the game again, have lots of fun - just wish there was more weapon choices

I don't think more weapons is something I would consider necessary.

There are lots of weapons that are all actually viable.

Apparently when you create a Root chalice dungeon there is a small chance that it will be a boss rush, where you just fight one boss after another, according to the Guide. No specifics given about whether it needs to be Cursed / Fetid / Rotted, or if its just one room where bosses keep spawning, sounds fun though.

I cancelled my guide since i think i'm pretty close to being done at this point. Wish i had it when game was released, but i'll survive. You people have helped and answered most every question i would have had to look up in the guide. Kudos to this forum! You guys rock

That reminds me of when I was playing phantasy star 4. Had to order the guide by mail and by the time it came in I has already beaten the game twice.

I find it very hard to believe that this actually made it into the release version of game. The game has been out for a month and I have not seen one single person on reddit (or elsewhere) claim to have gotten a boss rush. There's simply no way that there wouldn't be a glyph available for it by now if it really existed.

As for the guide, the thread on reddit has summed up pretty much everything I would have wanted to know from it:Got the guide, want to point out a few things... Like the Boss Rush : bloodborne

Kind of sad that the guide doesn't even mention the 'weight' vs. stamina regen thing though, not even a comment on the hand lantern to tell people that it shits all over their stamina regen if they use it.

i played 100% of the game with hand lantern and even equipped it into my quick equip bar (right touchpad), it made me feel safe fuck stamina regen

I just carry a hunter's torch in LH2 slot. The hand lantern is so dim that it's barely useful anyway, especially when it also tanks my stamina regen from ~4.5 seconds to ~6 seconds.
