So, my cousin and her mother/friends were at the finish line today. My cousin was running to honor her brother who passed away last week of brain cancer at 37 (wife and 2 babies). She hurt her leg going up Heartbreak Hill and fell behind the pace; if she hadn't, she would have been there as the blasts went off. Everyone was alright, but I almost fucking lost it today when I found out. So sick of this shit.

Actually, it's always a sad affair when things like this happen to innocent people. Being aware of everything that happens all around the world isn't exactly possible, but since thiswasin our back yard and in this case, since I did have family THERE, it's pretty fucking insulting that you "don't give a fuck" like some badass e-thug.
It's just a low thing to say man. Have a little respect for human life; your countrymen.

I work with this pretty old dude. He went to the Red Sox game and then decided to hangout at the finish line for the marathon. He said after it happened it was just massive blood and body parts on the ground, people screaming, crying, a few dead. He told me that after he was in Vietnam he swore he never wanted to see anything like that again. He helped out as he could, but the police didn't let a lot of people in.
After all that shit, dude showed up to work today. Never heard the man swear before. Tonight was riddled with "fucks", "shits", "cut off their nuts". Guy is the man. Here's to you Greg.
