I'm surprised that the police weren't interested in him. I assumed everyone who had a picture of them taken with a black bag or with someone with a black bag would've been brought in for questioning. Maybe I have too high of an opinion of the work being done on this case.

Im sure there is a lot of behind the scenes shit going on with the investigation and probably most of those people in the pictures that remotely resemble anyone which had a backpack or duffel bag in hand is getting identified and questioned.

Anyhow, the Craft International stuff is fairly interesting. Chris Kyle was quite the cult of personality, especially in Texas and in the mercenary industry. Someone like Fana or Lumie might spin quite the conspiracy involving these guys. The thing is the employees of this company are required to keep all sorts of weird shit with them at all times lugged around in backpacks like they were shown wearing, so being dressed as they were was not unusual for them, at least. The more interesting question is what was a private merc company doing there in those numbers? Probably not related in any way to the bombing, but it would be interesting to see if they were hired as additional security or there schilling for their company.

They had signs up and shit and were walking around in their company stuff, not civilian garb, which suggests they were there in some official capacity. But it could be them just entering a team in the race, like a lot of companies do.

It's not remotely realistic to find and question every person from a crowd of 30K that had on a backpack based solely on pictures of the crowd. Just think about what would be involved with this. They're not wearing name tags and the event attracts people from all over the world.
