You should feel comfortable trashing mech swords, sacred jewels and medulla gems (assuming you have enough legwands/malice). Dont scrap any spheres that can't be crafted. I also have a bunch I could get rid of.


Resisting the urge to pull for Xenia. She's a great pure damage sub, but damage is one of the easiest roles to fill. May breakdown if ultor's 7* is trash.

Doubt he will be trash - Question is, will Ultor and Deimos be compatible in an offense/defence sort of way or will there be too much overlap to have them both be desirable in the same squad.

I personally keep my sacred jewels. I'm out of legwands for malice crafting.

You won't want them in the same squad, only want one taunter. I'm hoping he gets +elemental weakness damage, or bc on crit added to his sbb. He'd get a sub par crit buff because of his ls, and with Xenia I don't see him getting +sbb %. So there are only a couple options that aren't underwhelming.

Ultor is making me nervous. I'm concerned that I might've been a little too trigger happy - 30 gems is more than I've spent at one time since The Kuda Fiasco. Hell, I bet I've only spent 20-30 gem total ever since.

Anyway, Deimos is more or less an improved Ultor. There are a few outcomes that I can foresee here, and my nervousness stem from one or two of them.

Outcome 1: 7* Ultor is an improved Ultor. I'll be pissed, even if Deimos is better. Surely they wouldn't insult people who blew gems for an OP unit by releasing a roughly analogous unit the next day?

2. He just sucks. Completely outclassed by Deimos. Also a shitty outcome, especially for people who might have held out today.

3. They do a Claire/Colt thing where they complement one another. This is entirely baseless commentary that doesn't even qualify as theory, but it'd be cool. They ARE thematically linked.

4. They chose for whatever reason to redirect to an entirely new unit what seems to me to be a collection of logical upgrades - taunt, def boosts, attack boost expanded to general stat boosts, and an infinitely improved LS - to Ultor's 6* form, and Ultor's new form will have little in common with what came before.

What do you guys think?

The 10 summons easily my worst set of summons to date. Only 1 rainbow door and it was my 5th Oguro.

If not for the Anima typing on Zenia, I'd be heading off to acquire a taste for rodents and isolation right now. R-N-Gesus has a fucked up sense of humor, let me tell ya.

Going to try to ignore the first ten summons and pretend that I didn't just flush 50 gems for a single usable unit....and just concentrate on my new DPS MVP sub. (Might put her as lead for a bit to share, but she makes more sense as a sub for my roster.)

Very happy if I ignore everything except Zenia. She *was* exactly what I needed though. Can't wait to raid with her.

Will level her after tomorrow's patch.

Hope you're wrong, but you're almost certainly not. Outcome 1 does seem the most likely. Pretty stupid of me to blow so many gems on this event, even with Zenia, but it's also a dubious gesture on Gumi's part. Let's release two awesome unitsthe day beforeUltor comes out, let's make both of them insanely good, let's give one of them abilities quite in line with - but also possibly exceeding - theorized improvements Ultor's new form brings to the table, let's require many, many summons for either of these two new units to come up (see Reddit - I was lucky), and let's not release any info about Ultor until well into this event!

I honestly wanted her so much I'd have finished the 10th summon as well if I hadn't gotten Deimos on the 6th.

My prediction on ultor:

1) Ls- with Demios ultor won't get hp added to his ls. To make him a worthwhile arena lead they need to add some type of bc modifier and up the values on his existing ls.
2) sbb- he'll need the same sbb% modifier and 250% def on taunt. Guessing his attack boost becomes 145% for all for 3 turns. Sbb will get another damage modifier which will determine how good of a unit he is.

This is why I still think they might not be too bad on the same roster. It isn't like Gumi didn't see their own units before their release. There will be riots if their 7-stars are almost identical in skill sets and release only 1 day apart.

Same squad? I dunno, but I have to believe Gumi wants both units to be considered valuable enough that a person would want both on their roster for different reasons at least.

If (besides taunt) their skills cover different niches, no one will feel bad about having both.

Either way, Anima Deimos is a great fucking pull. He is a monster.

Do you think Tridon will get mitigation? I don't have a 7* mitigator that attacks and while Shera's been the longest lasting (by far) of my 6* units, he's becoming a liability as content gets harder. Struggling to keep him up.

I defer to Ishad on this sort of thing, but if I were forced to guess, I'd say it is very possible he gets 75%mitigation on UBB but none on bb/sbb - the question is, does his innate mitigation on his Leadership skill hold steady at 10% (which stacks with everything), or do they go game-breakingly nuts and let that inflate a bit.

Of course I'm talking strait out of my ass too. Tomorrow will tell all.

Tridon seems really hard to guess. With Deimos you should probably save for the light mitigator in the batch after besti.

Deimos is also really going to shine in the future. Eventually ubbs are getting patched so their buffs stack with regular buffs. So you'll be able to pull of 3 turns of 75 % mitigation with Deimos having 600% def. Add in alyuts def to atk buff and things get really dumb.

Alright, thanks. Gonna see what happens to me without Shera for a bit. If it's as bad as I think, I can experiment with Balgran + Deimos. Balgran's great fun anyway.

Lol Thanks man. I needed an offensive sub like that so bad it wasn't funny. I needed one so bad I can honestly say I'm not even upset that she was the only worthwhile unit in 50 gems. Hoping her sphere has some hp's and atk + some awesome dps effect or other.

Been posting on mobile, and neglecting the game since my summons. Going to hit the game for a bit and lurk here on my keyboardless. (Amazing how much you can do with only a mouse )

Heheh yeah. Leomurg probably isn't great even taking into account the nonexistence of his sphere. Working (finally!) on Malice Jewels and I'd prefer one over Leomurg for sure. I know it's not the point, but his attack right now makes me sad; it's pretty clear he's gonna need a ton of defense, though..

Would you believe me if I told you I hardly ever raided until a few days ago? Just couldn't handle the repitition. Anyway, got 4 Almighty Imps from completing RC4, which was actually only 3 imps away from maxing him. Making myself raid more now because I really, really need spheres. Don't have a single Malice Jewel.
