Yeah, I don't know what happened with Edea either. Unless you're referring to the fact that we went into it blind with regard to Ultor and Tridon. I summoned twice I think, but was going for Edea. For anyone pulling for Ultor or Tridon, then yeah - that sucked too.
I got a Tridon, which was alright. I've mentioned before that I just don't like him and his new form seems pretty good, but it's just more Tridon.
edit: I'd like for Tridon's SBB to cure ailments, although that'd make him really similar to Kanon. Either way, I don't see myself using him over Deimos. Although a Tridon lead with Deimos sub would be ridiculous. My Deimos lead with a Colt puts him at like 18.7 or 19.7 (I forget) k hp, and that's without his personal sphere.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. Edea's only crime was being in such proximity to the global exclusive shenanigans going on right now.
I was pulling for Ultor amongst others in that batch.....and to be honest, I'm not sure which would have me more upset today.....getting Ultor, or not getting him.

Anyway, I hope they buff the hell out of Ultor but I'll confess to being greedy enough that I'd prefer Deimos to remain the superior unit after 30 gems and half a dozen almighty imps expended.

I had planned on taking another shot at some of my undone Vortex Dungeons today, post patch.....still do tomorrow if I can get my units up and running. It has seemed almost a waste to use him on less than that.....I am dying to see him in action though.
Struggling to find a group composition that doesn't include my Griel as lead but has status protection somewhere in the mix. ...at least not without sacrificing much DPS or requiring excessive micro-managing.
Your Deimos is going to annihilate the 20k hp mark once his Extra Skill activates.
Between Deimos and Tridon, the HP totals we can potentially achieve just got a little crazy.
Just got my first Blaze Pearl, but the Buffer Jewel isn't showing up in the crafted raid spheres section - anyone know if I need to get two before it shows up or something?

Too many more changes at this point and people really will riot. That and Ultor would almost need to be reinvented to give Deimos a run for his money based on what we have seen. Your Deimos was very well invested, no doubt.

I don't care if Deimos is better as long as ultor isn't dogshit. Give ultor the same amount of drop checks, buff the attack buff on his sbb from 1 turn to 3, and fix the delay on his buff so it impacts his sbb.
Deimos is more defensive and ultor is more offensive.

Took another crack at the newest GGC today. Got wiped out, as always, a few rounds after the gang of four shows up. Except Deimos is still alive. They can't fucking kill him - this is insane. He's been autoing it alone for 5 min now. Pretty sure he's slowly losing progress due to the gang healing themselves, but hard to tell. They beat him down to halfway, the sheer onslaught fills him up to SBB, they beat on him some more, ad infinitum.

Even if they did nothing else, just doing this would take a lot of the insult out of it.
He and Mifune are going to duke it out for top atk honors as it is, and that ain't nothing as long as simple things like him being able to benefit from his own buffs are in order.
He isn't the only global exclusive with that problem, but he is the only one riding a Perfect Storm of disappointment atm.

Heh yeah. He's pretty helpless alone, but he's built such that that'll probably be a really common thing. He has the most hp and huge defense so he'll likely be the last one standing. If he's the last one standing, everything will attack him and fill his gauge all the way up (if he's leading). Once it's all the way up, he'll pop his buff, which increases his defense and gives him a huge rec bonus, which'll heal him to full.

Cleared it with Deimos lead, Balgran, Ruby, Kikuri, Elimo and Raaga friend. Same team as previous attempt (not the same previous one I reported earlier), but Balgran instead of Selena, Elimo instead of Shera, and Raaga instead of Colt. So I suppose that's not the same team at all. Not sure what I was thinking with that first team. Deimos would self-fill to SBB on most turns, and Elimo would self-fill to bb on most turns, so it was pretty hard to kill, but bb fill for the rest of the team was wretched, and the massive damage boost from Colt in no way made up for the ridiculously slow rate at which bb filled. It took my 45 minutes to make it through the second stage, then I insta-died to Code 666 on stage 3 because I hadn't read up on what to expect and didn't bring any idols.
Not sure what move one of those guys uses every now and then that one shots people, but it's annoying. It can otko Deimos through mitigation, 100% defense buff + Balgran's defense buff and all of his absurd hp.

Sounds rough. I'll have to call on your experience when I get to trying it.
I couldn't wait any longer (I used to be so much more patient, I don't know what happened), ...anyway, I did the requisite summoning to finish raising up my Zenia. Her spheres situation is nothing to write home about, and she barely has any Imps on her, but I'll have her up as a lead in 30 minutes or so.....just a bit more fodder farming to do first to unlock her UBB.
I really, *really*, hope her unique sphere has some HP's on it or she is going to be frustratingly weak on HP's.

Heheh no hurry. I would have used her over Raaga in a second for the GGC, but now it's not as pressing. Nothing I'm doing now requires a unit as goddamn powerful as she is, but I'll certainly use her for raids.

Lol, ya. Between Deimos and Zenia, Deimos is the most OP....he is the very definition of God Tier...but Zenia is still ahead of her time by a few months or so. There is no telling when JPBF will have a unit that can go toe-to-toe with Diemos.

Deimos might be more meta in the sense that he has a more transformative effect on the game, but I definitely wanted a Zenia more for a couple of reasons. First, she's the logical upgrade to Raaga, whom I looooooove. Second, she fills so many slots and only takes up one unit - Lava and Raaga come foremost to mind. Third, I like Deimos more than Tridon, but Tridon performs a similar task and is also amazing.

For whatever it is worth, I know where you are coming from. Rosetta used to be my favorite unit and easily my MVP for the longest time. I used her so long that it got to the point where some folks from my friends list were starting to drop me for using a 6-star unit in a 7-star age lol....I wasn't until after that I had to let her go. Desperately wanted a Raaga to fill her shoes but never got one.
