Just watch how many Frontier Service Points that is actually getting you though. I tried my hand at middle farming earlier and scored 3.1M Points, but got less than half the Frontier Service points toward the ladder than I do when I get less than half that score in Terminus.

You really have to annihilate Middle to make farming points there worth it. As hard as it felt like I dominated it, I'm still not there yet myself.

My scores in Terminus are down this month as well, but I'm not sure if it is just because it is one round shorter this time or what....my groups are stronger, that is for sure.

Terminus farming converts 20% of your points to service points, while mid converts 5%. A score of 2.3 mill in the mid will move you up rankings as much as a score of 575k in terminus. To effectively farm the mid you should be putting up scores of 10 million +

Beat Alpha Dilith this morning. Xei'Jing is still giving me absolute fits.

I'm sure that I don't even entirely understand the Xei'Jing Trial yet.

Is there an ETA on the Krantz batch? My squad will be an utter mess until I get either him or Edea. With all the 30% hp leads around, I don't feel like Deimos needs to be leader to reap great benefit from him. But if I don't use him as lead, I'd need Shera and a nullifier + Deimos. If I didn't have Deimos, I'd use Kanon, but it'd be a shame to use both of them. So I'm basically stuck watching fellow raiders do 2-5x the damage I do.

edit: the mitigator issue is such a big deal that I'm probably gonna blow all of my gems on the next mitigator rateup, or whenever there's a rateup for the Krantz batch. Either Krantz or Edea will free up nullifier LS and replace Shera.

That might not be a bad move. Mitigation is the one singular skill that is non-negotiable in this game.

I was last facing mitigator frustrations when I wasn't able to kill a mecha-god to evolve my first 7-star because I didn't have one of my own. That went on for a month, I was ready to quit behind that nonsense heh.

Xie jing is about getting mastering the three fei/bomb thresholds, followed by praying that she doesn't face rape your squad with blighted harvest spam after the third fei, and that you still have enough burst to get through 10% to 0% when you get leader skill locked. It's a really frustrating trial.

It wouldn't be so bad if Shera did anything else useful outside of FH. When 6* was max, she had amazing stats and that SBB did some damage. Mine was at like 3.1k attack with a 30% sphere.

Now she just pokes things a couple dozen times, mitigates and then often dies spectacularly. Even now, there are few raids for which I actually use mitigation, but the ones that require it require more than Shera.

This is the part I am completely bungling.

I actually did get her low (near that 10% mark) once, but I was already on my second squad and several of them were dead too....I may as well have still been a mile away at that point.

IF I could get her low with my Zenia crew (second squad) pretty much in-tact, I'm sure I could UBB-burst the begezus out of her. The problem is getting there with my characters alive.

Alpha Dilith was actually a pretty fun Trial imo. It took me 4 tries....first one I got my face handed to me on a plate. Second one I started to get my head around it but was still bungling too much.... 3rd one I'd have actually won except for a REALLY boneheaded stupid mistake. 4th was the charm.....by my 4th I actually got through it with my first squad.

Xei'Jing on the other hand is being a cast-iron bitch. I'm failing at her in such a way atm that I'm not even set on who I want in each of my groups....usually I'd at least have a plan by now.

When she summons her bombs, you want to kill fei on the third turn after that. This will prevent her from using the ultimate attack related to the bombs. I recommend a hot in addition to a burst healer

One Shiny Jewel away from first Malice Jewel. Late to the party on this, I know.

Found a way around the unparodonably shitty damage dealing I've been doing without sacrificing Deimos survivability. Remember when I was bitching about Dion not being the crit buffer I wanted. Well, I found out he's awesome. I confess to skimming over his BB and noting the lack of crit rate boost on his SBB, but he DOES have it - a nice one - on his BB.

Anyway, that's not relevant here, but his SBB is. It overlapped uncomfortably with Zenia, but I was just using his BB every few turns and using his SBB anyway - he does pretty great damage with his ES. Anyway, switched to Reis friend and my damage went way up and Dion's SBB is useful. Hooray.

That's just a massive and unintended aside, though. ONE FUCKING SHINY JEWEL AWAY!

Ok, was the zenia raid hard or am I just using the wrong team or strategy? I got destroyed the first few times doing it with my standard team, and then cleared it in a group by surviving while the other people actually took her down. By the end I was at Elimo, Griel, and Lava with Raga (Friend), Kira, and Elza all dead.

As well, what's the actual process to get Tridon's sphere? Just keep grinding Athenasphere raids?

I got wrecked by zenia the first time. For the spheres grind exodus in rc4. Farm all 4 now, the raid kind of sucks so you'll want to do it with a group to make it go faster.

Learned that edea's sphere only activates the 20% all stats. Her status clear is active no matter what sphere you use.

Really liking my raid team. 5-8 minute solo balmedia runs.

Wow. That bit of information could do wonders for my Edea.

...and speaking about Edea and spheres, now that Frontier Hunter is over, have you guys looked at the last two sphere rewards from the Frontier Gate? Holy crap those are nice. I heard the last segment from 26-30 was actually pretty damn tough, but I'm curious to find out myself.

Still have Xie'Jing on my to-do list, but she might have to wait until after the Sbyil Sisters dungeons are over, as I haven't farmed any of them out yet.

You get 1 of the 2 parts to make his sphere from progessing far enough into the X2 raids (I forget how far, but a step or two further than for the Deimos/Zenia sphere parts I think) then you just farm Void Chunks from "Exodus" for the other part. You need to farm Exodus for 4 Void Chunks total (1 each) to make all the unique spheres for Ultor, Tridon, Deimos and Zenia.

Tried fh gate a couple of times. So far only made it to 26 (stupid poison not proccing). I tried a low dps team and kept getting wrecked by the kikuri and sefia stage on 24. Retired once to get the 5-25 rewards.

Tried twice so far. Wrecked by S&K the first time, killed one of them second time.
