Yeah but I was sort of banking on WW in hiding making contact with Saul, and Saul having info on Jesse. Still possible he finds out about him first somehow, but I'm not real clear how at this point. Short of somehow getting in contact with Lydia or Meth Damon.

I think Walt thinks Jesse is alive based on the Charlie Rose interview at the end.

I'm finishing up my Breaking Bad wall-chart, with photos of each character, and yarn diagrams mapping out the most likely scenarios. Then I'll submit my prediction.

I'm still in this shit! WALT TO THE RESCUE!

Prediction: Walt leads police/DEA to Nazi compound and then starts a shootout with them knowing the Nazis will go out guns blazing and be killed. The police/DEA assume the Nazis were working with and harboring Walt. Walt takes the ricin before starting the gun fight then finds and possibly frees Jesse as he's dying.

Walt: Killed by ricin
Jesse: Lives - possibly avoids jail by cooperating - Walt tells him where his money is and he takes care of the kid
Skylar: Lives
Walt Jr: Lives

Marie: Lives
Todd: Killed by police
Lydia: Thrown in jail
Jack: Killed by police
Gretchen: Lives - blackmailed by Walt to help his family after he's dead. Walt does this so his family doesn't have to be tied to drug money at all.
Elliot: see Gretchen

Walt committing suicide just doesn't sound like it's in his nature. I feel he'd face the music for prison time. Use the trial to clear Skyler's name. Obviously that part won't be shown, but it makes more sense in the goal of protecting the family. He's more useful to his family staying alive and going to prison than he would be to kill himself and leave Skyler out to dry.

Yeah, not like he tried to brain himself in the first episode or anything.

Walt: He dies for sure. If he ricins himself, then he'll do so knowing that he is going to get arrested and die in jail. Perhaps he attempts to visit his family one last time knowing he'll be arrested, dunno.
Jesse: Gets freed, lives, forgives Walt - Brock is with his grandmother so I doubt Jesse will be involved in his life anymore, hell his involvement in his life already cost Brock a mother and an uncle. He blew his chance with Ed and plus Saul is the one that had the number so you know he isn't getting a new identity that way but still he might end up in Alaska somehow.
Skylar: Lives
Walt Jr: Lives

Marie: Lives
Todd: Killed by Jesse
Lydia: I think she'll live unless Todd goes full rapist in the last episode and she shuts him down thus hurting his pride so he kills her but we've never really seen Todd angry.
Jack: Heisenberg will definitely kill him.
Gretchen and Elliot: Lives - Not sure how Walt can blackmail them into taking care of his family since after he dies

I agree with others saying that Walt is pretty emaciated to carry that machine gun but maybe they choose to go with adrenaline being a factor into how he can pull it off. He could call the DEA and tip them off saying he'll be at the neonazi compound so they can keep the rest of them busy while he takes care of Jack but dunno seems far fetched. I would like chemistry to play a role in how he defeats Jack and his men, in the lines of fulminated mercury, thermite, etc but he has no lab access and no ingredients to make anything unless he does it at Gretchen and Elliot's house since I assume he'd have a bunch of chemistry ingredients.

Adrenaline? Hell, the guy has decent connections on some killer meth.

The circumstances were quite a bit different then. Killing himself now puts his family in jeopardy due to Skyler's involvement. Walt taking the fall could go a long way to clear Skyler's name.

Heh while Walt embracing his inner Tuco would be cool, I don't think it'll fit cause he's never done meth before so he won't know how he'll react on it. He might become Tuco or he might become Jesse.

The single almost universal prediction thus far is that Walt dies by the end of the final episode. What if that ends up being an overlooked curve ball from VG; that even though he wasn't denied his very life, Walt had to live it out weighed down by the profound failure brought on by his actions.

The final scene could begin after the subtitle "23 Years Later" with a modest home in an obviously remote location and an aged Walt watching something streaming to his computer. It's an interview with a porn star named Holly Daise. She mentions her early life as the daughter of a struggling single mother working multiple jobs to make ends meet. She talks about a disabled brother who eventually overdosed after several years of struggling with drug addiction. The interviewer points out the irony of his death, given that she is the daughter of a one-time teacher turned infamous drug lord whose involvement with drugs wreaked such havoc on her family. When asked what her father was like, she responds that she says that although she never knew him, she would hate him for the rest of her life for what he did.

Walt stops the interview and walks to the door, grabbing a shovel before going outside. He goes several dozen yards from the house to a freshly dug hole. Looking down into it to reveal the money barrel, still three quarters full of banded bills. He pulls the small vial of ricin out of his coat pocket, looks at it thoughtfully for several seconds before kneeling down to toss it into the barrel, then places the lid back on top of his stash. Dirts begins to falling back down into the hole as the camera fades to black.

Living out the rest of his life with the company of nothing but his demons would be a fate worse than death for Walt, I would think.

Yeah, I'm also on the Walt lives side, yet is stuck alone. All he wanted the whole series was to get enough money for his family and I think with Flynn not accepting the cash and telling him to just die really got to him. I'm thinking Jesse is going to have Walt's Life in his hands and instead of letting him die (which Walt would most likely do to Jesse now) he'll fight for Walt. Possibly Walt goes to fight Jack and instead can't pull the trigger, Jesse finds him, full of rage after being held up for a long time and watching his chick die (can't think of her name), will end up busting a cap in Jack's ass! When Jack is dead, that group will be unsure what to do and that's when Todd will step up and take control of the group. Todd pretty much stays in the Meth Business with Lydia at that point. He's been cooking with Jesse so he's probably much better at it now.

For some reason I also keep thinking that Walt is somehow going to cause Flynn to die. I'm leaning towards he's going to get into a car crash. Flynn loves fast cars and I keep thinking back to the earlier episode where Flynn didn't give a fuck about putting the seat belt on even though Skylar pleaded constantly. Makes me think Flynn might be rushing someplace and whoops, bye bye Flynn.

I could see it ending somehow what Royal just said, Walt being alone with all his money knowing that not only did they not accept his money, but he also somehow got his son killed. I'm also predicting the final scene will be Walt coughing into his hand, thinking it's just like every other time he's coughed, except this time there will be a few drops of blood on his hand.

Either way, I'm pumped up for this final episode and I hope it doesn't disappoint!

Oh I'm not predicting that Walt lives. I just remember hearing Vince Gilligan mention several times in interviews that with Walt walking the path he has and having done things he's done, riding off into the sunset in some form or another wouldn't be appropriate. The conventional conclusion drawn from that is that he dies a death accompanied with some measure of misery. I'm just musing about how Walt's misery and failure might actually involve him living a long life.

I still think he dies in a prison infirmary at the conclusion.

Does 52 minutes seem like just not enough time to wrap things up to anyone else?

It's mostly wrapped up already I think. It will have to be an action episode like the train robbery rather than a drama episode like most other ones but there's enough time to do it.

The only points that remain unresolved are Walt and Skylar. All the rest of that can be resolved in two or three scenes... one if they wanted to be "AND THEN EVERYONE DIES" about it.

There's no time to dwadle on indulgences but there's time to conclude it.
