Man, the friend zone is stupid. Just move the fuck on. Besides my grandmother, there's one other female in my phone text list and it's my SO. I am a so-called nice guy and I just move on when I even sniff a friend zone coming. They're not worth my time, but I think biology and my ex being a cheating cunt leads me to believe girls and guys struggle with "just friends." Most of my female friends are married or engaged to a male friend. I don't even consider them potential "rapes" because bros before hoes.

The whole thing with the friend zone is that it's actually a rejection. Instead of being "mean" and telling off someone she got comfortable with, the girl offers friendship instead. Typical refusal to take responsibility thing. The sane thing to do is to say thanks but no thanks (which can actually get you the girl since you showed some balls for a change) or to say ok but still move on, which shows that you understood the unspoken message. The problem is so many tools turn this into a farce because the guy thinks he still has a chance and ends up kissing the girl's ass in hope that she becomes attracted to him. What happen tho, is she just takes advantage of the idiot and then acts offended when the guy finally realize what the fuck has been going on and snaps. I'm sure you all have seen the cringe worthy story unfold and you can't do a damn thing to help the sonofabitch who won't listen to reason.
The whole friend zone thing is a non issue for any guy with a clue how to pick up women. The problem is there's a ton of guys out there who think the jerk getting the girl is an anomaly and the true way to a girls heart is by being nice and kissing ass.

Right, too many guys get fixated on this one girl, and also start assuming some sunk-cost fallacies. They think their show of dedication will eventually pay dividends if they just stick it out and show how different they are from all the other guys. This, of course, does not happen which leads to them being "stuck" in the friend zone. Its true that you can get out easily by just walking away, but many guys have these misguided notions of being honorable or something and showing that they aren't just friends with the girl to rape her. Its reinforced by the feminine bullshit like "we don't owe you sex" so that guys with that mindset feel like they need to prove they aren't like that and they can be nice supportive guys without the sexual reward.

The guys that lose out are the ones that do "nice" things in the hopes that a woman will grow attracted to them. They let the women control the frame in this case, and act like children trying to please their mother. This is always an attraction killer. It doesn't matter if they're a jerk or an alpha in every other aspect of their life. Lots of really tough dudes are complete wussies around women.

What is hilarious is how fast a girl will un-friend zone you when you do show a spine and walk away. Also it's hilarious that chick's response when you start dating someone. Last year I asked out a girl at work and in the middle of the date she dropped some serious "friend zone" rhetoric. After the date I wished her a good night and never called her again. If we saw each other at work or at lunch, I'd be friendly and talk but I wasn't going to yap after her like a puppy. Fast forward 6 months and she's actively trying to talk to me on her own but I had just started seeing someone. Pics with new girl pop up on Facebook and the girl at work hit 100 on the jealous, snippy bitch scale in 0.2 seconds. Cracked me up. Hasn't spoken to me in months now.

There is only the limbo between you being fooled that a girl is actually a friend on an equitable level to your same sex friends, and you understanding that as soon as she becomes intimate with another guy, your attentions will become a liability to any relationship she might want to have with the new sexual interest and she puts you off, or you do the same when you become so involved with another girl.

In 1994 it was, "Aww, hang in there! She'll come around to loving you for who you are eventually (once she's "grown" from the experiences of banging bad boys). In 2014 it's "Any guy who thinks he's in the so called friend zone is just a potential rapist because he thinks he's owed sex for his friendship."
