Yeah you are definitely a bit over leveled (not that it really means much) for only having two primal bonfires lit. I'm lower than you, somewhere around 110, and I've got 3 lit with the Iron King being my last remaining. Your summon time is going up because your SL is becoming so out-of-whack with the ranges that people normally do the content at.
Soul Vessel or whatever, just don't do what I did. I used the respec thinking I would be able to go back to the level up lady, but no it is broken down by points and you have to spend them all to continue. This lead to me completely fucking up my character, thus I said fuck it and rerolled anyway.
Soul Vessel first is in the mansion basement. Bring it to the Fire Keepers in Betwixt.
Some people assist others a few times to learn the boss first and then summon people which will trigger the cutscene. But, yeah, generally I feel the same way and don't really feel compelled to utilize all of my items when 9 times out of 10 the host is going to get gibbed by a mechanic he knows nothing about.
