Noodleface
A Mod Real Quick
No Mist you need a 8k 700hz 58 inch computer monitor WITH GSYNC and if it isn't IPS then it is trash. LITERAL TRASH
Woah woah woah... you mean I have to have proper posture AND tinker with my settings to enjoy a TN panel?Or you could lower the brightness to a reasonable level, calibrate for a decent black level and contrast, and then not slouch.
Wow. Looks like it will be a very good deal, no?
What kind of hellscape do you live in.Or you could lower the brightness to a reasonable level, calibrate for a decent black level and contrast, and then not slouch.
One littered with washed out colors and proper posture.What kind of hellscape do you live in.
Ditto to what Noodleface said. Very solid build, I don't see any holes.Any thoughts on this build? GPU will be Geforce 1080, will be paired up with 1440p/144hz monitor, mostly for gaming on ultra. This is my first build, critiques/advice welcome, no mouthbreathing please![]()

May sound stupid but this is my first build and trying to install Windows and drivers/etc without physical medium makes me just a tad nervous. I'm sure it would be fine and you're right, I haven't used a disc in years.IMO
For case id go with Define S
I ended up going with an air cooler just to shave off $100 and the great reviews on this Cooler Master. Final build below:IMOFor cooler;
I found one with combo bluetooth :http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GC-WB...B00HF8K0O6#AskYou can buy pcie wireless adapter cards.
In my eternal quest to downsize my pc but maintain, I buy reference cards because of the need to control the flow of air in my case. In smaller matx and itx cases, this is usually better than a card that dumps the hot air into the case. Nvidia's refernce cooler is leagues ahead of AMD's though.Thinking about that 480x. Shit for $200 and the performance, it just cannot be beat. Especially that I'm still rolling 1080. Ive had AMD cards in my PCs, and in fact one of my gaming PCs has a R9 280x in it right now and Ive had no problems. And my kid has like 100+ games in his steam library. I just don't understand all of you having so much problems with AMD cards. My other PC, the older i5 2500K has a 5850 in it that has been going strong for like ages. I even played some overwatch on that bitch, low, 60fps. Ill probably put the R9 in the old PC and upgrade the gaming one with the 480x.
Plus I don't understand why anyone would drop all that cash for a 1080 or 1070 for a reference card anyways. That's like as base as they get. Soon as MSI and Asus and the others start rolling them out, they will have better everything from cooling, memory to boosted clock speeds. The shit seems silly to me to buy reference cards so you can be the first, lol. Fucking wait a month or two and reap the rewards of aftermarket goodness. Fucking nerds tripping over themselves to be the first. Even paying extra $200, lol because its "sold out everywhere".
I'm with you there. Build a small stand for it so it is at least a few inches off the ground from dust-bunnies.I just put my PC on the floor to free up desk space.
I feel like a failure and a bad parent.
