It still won't do anything if this room is 85 degrees in January. Having to open a window in the dead of winter to play video games is pretty stupid.
That's what I do.Why not open the window during those 2 hot months and put a couple hundred dollar window AC in it
That's what I do.
What I'm saying is that my office room is still hot in January with a 180w GPU. A 350W GPU would be ridiculous.
ITX boards are really small. Thought mATX was small enough. Got everything connected I think. Just hope the chassi fan splitter works now as there is only one chassi connector on the board.
Hopefully the correct RAM will arrive tomorrow so I can start it up.

Not sure if I need water cooling for this CPU or not. Would also add in some case fans and buy a tube of Arc 5.
Current system is 2500k 8gb.

Fractal Design Mini C i think. Its for mATX and smaller but it is a pretty roomy case.Is that the S2? I am debating between that and the C but am concerned if the new gen cards are any longer than this it may not fit in a C (340mm or so of room for the card w/o a front mounted AIO radiator it seems).
I feel like I must have missed this since no one else commented, but why did you get a small form factor motherboard for a mid-tower?ITX boards are really small. Thought mATX was small enough. Mostly due to my budget. Could not find any decent mATX cards in stores and I did not want to invest in a new case for ATX. Found that asus itx card for a good price and as of now I don't really need more slots. I really like the smaller case as well.I feel like I must have missed this since no one else commented, but why did you get a small form factor motherboard for a mid-tower?
I'm pretty sure your case would fit atx? What case is it?Mostly due to my budget. Could not find any decent mATX cards in stores and I did not want to invest in a new case for ATX. Maybe I did it backwards but it will have to do.
From the specs and a small amount of googling its mATX only, maybe if you drop the PSU shroud it might fit. Fractal Design Define Mini C is the case.I'm pretty sure your case would fit atx? What case is it?
Yeah it looks close. It looks like it's got the holes for ATX screws, but the bottom part above the shroud would be super tight. From the specs and a small amount of googling its mATX only, maybe if you drop the PSU shroud it might fit. Fractal Design Define Mini C is the case.
A real itx case would be nice but always concerned about the heat. I had a 3570k before I upgraded at 4.5ghz and it needed all the cooling this case had.Yeah it looks close. It looks like it's got the holes for ATX screws, but the bottom part above the shroud would be super tight.
I feel like sometime in the next few years I'm going to get into ITX for a media/VR pc. It's something I periodically think about. Seems like they've had a fair amount of good cases come out recently
