Yeah I think this is the build that I am going with.

That says 7700k, what are you smoking?6700k?
Why not just wait until 8700k is released in 2 months? It will be 6c v 4c.That says 7700k, what are you smoking?
At what price increase though? Why not just wait until 8700k is released in 2 months? It will be 6c v 4c.

Ugh, waiting until then is going to be rough.I've seen between $340 and $380. Rumor is it comes out in October. It also will require a new MOBO. It will not work on any Z270.
Ugh, waiting until then is going to be rough.
Buying that M2 SSD no matter what since it is so deeply discounted right now.
Will be well worth it.Ugh, waiting until then is going to be rough.
I in fact do overclock and used to build my own water loops.M2 vs msata, waiting vs not. Buying a complete build at once makes no fucking sense if you're buying at the parts level and assembling it yourself. And if you're stupid and just have cash flowing out your ears, half the decisions make even less sense. Like, why the fuck are you spending money on a water cooling system you don't need, when I know you're not going to overclock it and clearly you don't have much concern for longevity.
The whole point of piece mealing is to save money or that you're wanting to get the best possible components without paying ten times markup to a builder. At these specs, you might as well purchase a pre built system.
Buy that m2 if it tickles your pickle, but the tech is and was already limited.
Just buy an iMac. So much faster than that shit bc Apple made it.

Speaking of open water loops. Anyone have experience with parts made by Barrow? You can put together a full custom loop for half the price if you buy from china.
Never did water cooling before. Do I need to change the liquid at all? If so, how often?
