I'd be game for the raid, but only at 287-290 light depending on what gear I'm using. I raided VOG back in the day with a bunch of you all (diamondage, Sarthis, thefourth, Intrinsic, etc)

Also, anyone still need Nightfall? I haven't done it and I'd rather not use DestinyLFG if possible.

Just started to play with some friends.. Bought the legendary edition and with the purchase I was able to insta level to 25 and got some blue (rare?) quality gear and brought my gear score up to like 140 or something..

So far I am just playing through the lower level stuff to get a feel for the game as well as play through the story...


Any tips or anything I should know as I play ?

I'm PST as well and I want to try out the raid. If you ever need someone and see me online just blindly send me an invite - I have a few of you west coast guys on my friends list. NDizzl0r.

I can't commit to any set time unfortunately due to my schedule. Unless we have enough to commit to like 9:30pm PDT on Tuesdays, I guess. (I don't even know when the reset is)

Ill be down for nightfall still have that quest but never bothered. Hit me up tonite should be on about 10-11 PM EST. psn evaneezer110. Maybe my kid can help too if not we can find another or just 2 man it.

What do people think about this new cosmetic shop coming? I won't be buying anything but if it gets more content made w/o having to pay for it myself I'm all for it.

Damnit I have 44 fragments done yet only 43 on the character I was working on it with. The grimoire doesn't differentiate between characters so I have to go through them one by one.

I know 2 that I am missing so I can finish ToM if I go get the one raid one I am missing and the Agonarch rune. Working on those two and will just track down that other one later.

Kill the new tier three court of Oryx boss on Tuesday, each week it rotates and you get a fragment. At 47 now.

Im in with you, JonnieRipps, Cad, and whomever else. My only problem is I'm not on until 7pm pst at the earliest, so that's probably too late to get in on a fresh run with you guys. I miss the CE days when my online RR friends list was full.

Yeah they won't go back on what they said about the free content. I'm pretty surprised they went this route since they have some of the best selling DLCs on PSN.

On the emotes, I hope this makes them the money they need to support the current game. I'm not sure people are going to go crazy on emotes like they would skins in other games.

On a different topic surprised no one has brought up that Bungie promised the people that bought the digital version early before the price drop were supposed to get something from Bungie via there newsletter ,but never received anything for the 20 extra bucks they spent.

Just started playing and I'm level 4. Do I need to be looking in every nook and cranny for things or does this game not do that? Or there hidden loot chests at all? Appreciate it!

No, just kill shit do missions and strikes once they open up. Also pvp is available once you hit like lv15on your first character. There are some hidden golden chests around but they contain worthless crap most of the time.

Thinking about the micro transactions this morning , and I feel like this is going to end very badly for the some of the fans of Destiny.

I'm trying to think of a game that hasn't abused it yet, and it is hard to find one. They always start pretty innocent ,and escalate quickly.

It was pretty unecessary, I'm not sure why they decided to go this route.

As long as there is no P2W bullshit going on and not in your face type thing I dont really care. Shit, Ill even buy some crap if they have cool shaders or some shit just to support this game. I think its worth it.

Also I hope other developers take this idea of a pseudo mmo-shooter and run with it. Im really liking this genre and hope it grows. Im tired of high fantasy type shit.

yeah I think it'll be fine for 6 months and then we'll get cosmetic ships and vehicles that go faster, then potions that buff drop rates for loot then you can buy a 4th character slot then a token that lets you equip 2 exotic items at once etc. I'll be happy to be proven wrong but its always the same in MMOs.

don't really care though i find destiny fun and if it stops being fun i've gotten more than my moneys worth out of it. I think the massive success is going to spawn a ton of imitators though and all the MMO wannabe devs are going to fill in this new b2p/f2p console MMO-FPS niche, and that will be great. Would love to see stuff like Secret World, Age of Conan, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Trade Wars, etc start making Destiny type clones.
