Are there any Y2 Exotic weapons worth buying (such as Red Death or Suros) for PVE?
I have not come across any Exotic weapon engrams yet (keep getting armor pieces with the Three of Coins drops), so was contemplating buying a Y2 as I am capped on Marks right now.

Which do you seem to favor between those 2? It seems I am finding the general consensus online is either do Bad Juju or Red Death for PVE until you get that lightning rifle. People say the legendary versions of Suros Regimes basically mimic the exotic.

bad juju is great for doing stuff solo since you can ignore scrounging ammo and it charges your super insanely fast. its terrible for the raid though, should use variants of malice, spindle, zhalo supercell for exotics and 1000 yard, hung jury, and raid weps. one thing to do with marks is buy engrams and pray for exotics, some people have gotten stuff like supercell from purple engrams but its obviously very rare. also buying Y2 armor exotics and infusing them is pretty decent, like this week the nighthawk from the blueprints has an amazing roll so I bought the xur version for 13 coins, dismantled it, then bought the blueprint version and infused it up to 300.
cleared kings fall this week on 3 chars in 3 different pugs, I was honestly not expecting that. uncharted collection comes out next week, so timing is awesome. hard mode raid apparently will release same week as ToO but I don't have much interest in either. Iron Banner should be really fun though, especially with zhalo supercell. IB/Too/Heroic mode all roll out in ~10 days (Oct 13th for IB, Oct 16th for ToO/Heroic).

Where is the date from Bungie for Heroic mode? All I see is dates for IB and TOO announced in this weeks newsletter.

Are the calcified fragments in Kings Fall obtained via killing the bosses, or are they ground items you have to find? Sitting at 40/50 fragments on the path to Touch of Malice, but I'm not sure if I'll need to kill all the bosses to reach 45, or if I can just zone into a finished instance and grab the fragments.
You won't be able to just zone in because they are all behind doors and elevators that lock once you get past them. You need to complete the raid anyways to do the quest.

I guess im alone but i have no fondness of the supercell outside it being arc dmg and the go to weapon for that element type - I use my last extremity in almost all situations due to it having triple tap and firefly. Perhaps i didnt get a good stability perk roll on mine or something but it just seemed like shit with a good couple situation mainstay perks that are good for clearing tight clumps of enemies. I have a ToM for daughters/oryx and last extremity for anything else raid related.

Late for this but; group up with 1 or 2 friends, do the PvP all vs all 6 man thing. Decide a place to meet, kill your friends (you do damage without ammo, but takes 2 hits to kill) and just hammer it out in one game. Done that for all 3 swords now.
But what if I have no friends, none at all! They should make the raid solo-able! They fixed the nightfall after I complained, hell I don't even have PS+!
