Only complaint so far is 30 FPS lock on all systems. I suppose they had to do it so it even runs on last-gen, but still ... Ugh.

^ Yeah, the sloppy controls due to 30 FPS isn't so bad because it is kinda more RPG than FPS. But woulda been nice on the 'next gen' systems.

Hell at least throw in an option for 60 FPS but 720p instead. You can barely tell the difference between 1080p and 720p but 30 fps to 60 fps is huge difference.

I wonder if they'll tone down the auto-aim assist. It's noticeable with regular guns, but with the sniper rifles it's really glaring.

It drives me insane with ny scout rifle. I actually miss quite a few shots because of the auto aim tracing which is ridiculous.

Well its over. I am so excited for September. I ended up spending 93 hours playing the beta, I had a ton of fun every second.
Same. For some reason I though this was releasing next month on 8/9/14 not 9/9/14. Going to make that wait even longer. Wonder what they are using that final month for.



I wonder if they'll tone down the auto-aim assist. It's noticeable with regular guns, but with the sniper rifles it's really glaring.
I had Shingen-C AR with Enhanced Tracking and it locked on to mobs left and right but when I used it in PvP it rarely locked on to anything and only VERY briefly on their midsections of that. Can't say I was ever lucky enough to have good AA with my sniper rifle.

Yeah the Sniper Rifle aim assist is obnoxious. I'm sure they will tune it for live tho so it's been voiced on the reddit.

Because it's pretty obviously going to disappoint some people to learn that they saw 2 of the 4 maps in the game already. And that would cause canceled pre-orders. That 3 more will be coming via a DLC season pass, doesn't help. 1 fucking map... for the ENTIRETY of the planet earth. Take all of earth.... and it's has as much content density as what you'd get from the Barrens in WoW.

Though it's really easy to add in more content. Stick in a world map UI between the planet and region selection and her good to go. Given their apparent design philosophy of creating a mega map to be used for Story+OpenWorld+Strike and then slightly redressed for each they cannadd a ton of content by dropping in one new map every few months

Yea, I mean, lack of content is going to be a problem... And I didn't say it first, but they need to add in a "map" to the game so that you can travel to anywhere without needing to go to your spaceship, because it's just tedious. Traveling from Say, earth to space to tower to space to pvp is just about 2 transitions too many just to turn in a couple badges (because obviously you can only hold 5 for lore reasons despite being able to hold 27 different
guns/rocket launchers LOL.

I mean, at the very LEAST there should be a warp to tower button instead of just the warp to orbit.

When I played with my pvp fireteam this week, being in space was the only place were everyone talked undistracted as well.

I enjoy the flavor of it.

I've been saying lack of content will be a major concern as well. I'm still going to buy the game, and I'm basing the lack of content on really no hard evidence, I just have a feeling.

I think the transitions are pretty stupid as well.

For those of us who don't have 45+ free hours a week, I'd prefer to not have to sit and stare at what are basically loading screens 20 times a session. I don't think it's there for atmosphere, but what seems to be a technical limitation/loading.

A button that brought you to town in addition to the one going to orbit would be great. But outside of that it didn't bother me to much

More likely a high level design / UI decision made by programmers... they think and designed the game as a "tree" and each level as a branch... and so it feels disjointed when you want to go from branch to branch without first traveling to the trunk (ie: hit up the tower to turn in some badges and pick up others, because you know... they limited inventory space intentionally to 5, some of which are going to take normal people multiple days to accomplish, but others are quick (on purpose, again ex: 3 public events, or 50 headshots in pvp) which requires you to go back and get more).

Like I said, just adding the option to warp straight to the tower would reduce the amount of transitions and loading in half during normal gameplay. You can still default the game to start in space on launch.

Its absolutely designed to lower resource loading on their world servers for those waiting to match to a group in PVP or a dungeon. If you had an option to go straight to Tower from the ground then nearly everyone would use this and people would sit around in town while they went to pee or whatever instead of sitting at a nice orbit screen that uses no server resources.

Wish they made PVP a separate game for the halobros. Can only imagine how its going to fuck up the PVE experience yet again. Also is it just me or did the Alpha have "area" voice communication? Could swear I remember running through an area and hearing people talk.
