Wasn't too keen on the PVP before, but after playing a shitton of it last night, I'm actually really loving it. Those times for the Iron Banner thing are a fucking bummer, though. It's 11pm-1pm and 4am-6am for me over here in Belgium, which is completely unreasonable, unless you want to fuck your sleep schedule. Which is what I'm willing to do for this one-time-thing, but if this kind of timing carries over to the final game, Europe is essentially completely fucked.
Still over a month till release. Seems a bit longer then usual after an "open" beta.
I wonder how much will be changed balance wise.

I'm pretty disappointed by nearly every description I got about this game from online reviewers and folks who work local game stores. They all sort of hyped it up as "THIS WILL BY LIKE SKYRIM IN SPACE! SO HUGE! AND TOTALLY NOT AN MMO". And it ended up being the retarded love child of Borderlands and HALO... but WITHOUT single player. There are times when I want to play an MMO and do awesome stuff with friends or even random people. But FFS, I need another game like Skyrim that feels like an MMO but ISN'T an MMO. I thought that would be Destiny. Dead wrong.
Just a tip if you are looking for a certain piece of equipment. The strike is a guaranteed one piece of armor, and one weapon.
So just fill up the slots you don't want to drop.
For instance when I farm for primary weapons, I fill up all the other slots with garbage.

You actually get items below level 9 from the strike? I haven't, not even from the easy version.
Had another strange thing with loot last night too. I made a Titan and did the tutorial plus first mission and the piece of armor I got that needed to be ID'ed turned out to be a level 10 blue. WTF...
Eh? it's the rewards for when the strike is over. I've yet to see anyone not get greens that are appropriate level.

is it really worth burning yourself out on the beta though, unless you aren't gonna buy the game. there is no, no, no way they are carrying over characters from beta into launch it would be monumentally stupid of them to give away hundreds of hours of play time.
playing a lot of pvp though is worth it imo, learn the maps and shortcuts and good halt points

The guns/gear are for pvp..... That is why people are farming them. Trust me the players on the top of the Destiny leader boards on there website are decked out.
All guns, and armor modifiers transfer over to pvp except for AC and Attack. Thats why you see players with guns with low attack scores, but really good modifiers.
And in the Iron special events everything works.
The beta isn't exactly 3 days its going on for another week....

My connection isn't currently stable enough to do PvP atm but I am fine on co-op. I am just looking for some interaction with people who aren't retarded. I have a 6 hunter/5 warlock...I almost duo'd Devil's Lair strike on Hard with a buddy Titan of mine but we got disconnected twice near the end, and it was getting late last night so we quit.
I am just looking to get each class to level 8 and play through every mission...basically do everything there is to do PvE wise.
