I agree. Im starting to realize how everything in this game is a fucking chore.Don't feel like farming something else that i will max out oassively by playing. Was just reiterating how dumb it was to give things such high glimmer cost for a PvP event.
You should really never be at max. Put all of your glimmer turn in items in the bank when you get them, and when you get close to 25k start buying heavy ammo synth.Don't feel like farming something else that i will max out oassively by playing. Such a negative Nancy. We get it, you don't like the state of the game.why would you bother grinding rank 3 kreugen. the rank will reset next IB, so its only good for the next 24 hours. the boots and legs are mediocre, there is really no point right now buying them - either run the 30 min mini raid every week and hope for a good drop, or just say fuck it and wait for the DLC when you can get a 30 light item for just running the new 28 strike.
No one gives a shit about finishing the current raid anymore, since its busted to hell and back there is no sense of accomplishment in killing atheon, just "welp... i guess i did that"
i mean if they announce the DLC is being delayed to jan i could see it but with it being 2 weeks out I just don't see the point in bothering with IB at all, unless you are 100% sure you are not going to PVE at all in the DLC.
Because every game is the same repetitive crap all the time. There's a point in time where all you do is the same shit over and over. It's the backbone of an rpg. From here on out, no game will be unique. No game will be able to keep people interested in it. You can either accept the fact that this game is worth playing, or quit and play the other shit games out there.Im rather confused at how people havent gone postal on the repetitive nature "yet". I love the mechanics but man there aint shit to do! I log on now only to buy stuff from Xur then poof.
Nod - but the initial Borderlands experience was a bit more grand, granted the mechanics in Destiny are superior it in turn ends up being very hollow. Dont get me wrong i played it quite a bit, enough to have a few level 30s(all huntards) but the only slight variation comes from the pvp. The PVE is as good as dead till the xpac in which it will grant another few hours or so depending on how hard/easy the raid is. I personally decided to bypass playing again till atleast next summer and hope it will be more fleshed out.Yeah, I mean name a non repetitive shooter? I like this one better because not only do yo have PvP, you also have PvE shit and its all pretty well done and polished. Yeah its repetative, but so is all the other shooters. Fuck Borderlands, its closest cousin, made you go through the game 3 fucking times to get max level.
Unfortunately this game has hit on my OCD tendencies pretty badly, so there are alot of guns and alternate armor sets that I have been leveling up the last few weeks. I have 3 characters (2 titans and a hunter) that I have had to swap weapons around on and gear between the titans. That got annoying so I have been working on getting each their own raid armor set and weapon load out so I don't have to waste time transferring things between them and running into the inevitable "Crap where is my ice breaker" moment. It is repetitive and not for everyone, but there isn't anything else videogame wise that I would be playing right now so fuck it.Im rather confused at how people havent gone postal on the repetitive nature "yet". I love the mechanics but man there aint shit to do! I log on now only to buy stuff from Xur then poof.
yeah, I just think if you are playing wow probably doing the keep stuff is more productive than IB ranking. the initial destiny raid wasn't opened for a week after launch, dunno if they would do that for the xpac DLC too. on the one hand there are a ton of 30s champing at the bit for new content, on the other hand it would let people who have had bad luck with gear a week to chain run strikes to get the gear and level it up so everyone is on a more equal footing.Well spronk the thing is the new raid starts at 30, right? Which means if you don't make some progress to 30 now, by the time you get it from running the strike everyone you know will be done with the raid.
But you're right, I'll get r1 for the rep bonus items for the next round and see how it goes from there. WoW and having a headache made me skip this round.
