Yeah thats 100% correct, but sadly Blizzard 2013 just show what they are now. A big company thatmustfind way to maintain cash coming and you'll say "yeah like all other video game company". Problem is Blizzard won't take risk anymore like before (blizzard north + wow vanilla). People behind Blizzard just don't give a shit anymore, its just cocaine and whores everyday. Expect more wow expansion every years following the same plan (good marketing, a new one-shot quest hub for 10 more level, 1 raid content + patch for 6 month until next add-on) ala Everquest.

The risk for Blizzard is to be raped by MOBA community, if its happens, it will be the first big fail for Blizzard in terms on $$, diablo 3 is the first fail (not money wise) but it was on the long term and only for core blizzard gamer.
Also i feel like even in KR, Sc2 turn to be less played by teenager wanabe PGM in favor of MOBA. If it stay that way, sc2 will be like quake 3 in some years...
This D3 expansion is really important, not for gamers but for the company. They can't fuck it up or core gamer and more blizzard tard fanboy will leave the bot. They can easily surprised everyone and do a free DLC for D3 expansion if u have the vanilla game. Free DLC with cash shop in it of course.

Expansion where you fight Death > Underworld/Death Realm > Meet Cain again! Maybe even bring him back because lore consistency is overrated anyway, most likely he becomes an angel instead. It was all an elaborate setup for the expansion storyline.

Pfft D1 had story, it just wasnt pushed into your face until you had to puke from it. Like the dying town person in front of the cathedral that you can click or not that is foreshadowing the butcher much better then the butterfly doing a wrestling introduction ending in "meeeet .. the BUTCHER!!!111"

I think you would have hard time turning that into a comedy, it would be just sad.

Goddammit. I just realized the final boss fight is going to have a "hide behind Tyreal as he shields you from the insta-kill ability". They make it look so cool in the cinematic, but it's so cliche now...

while blizzard's cinematic team is always top notch... the story just seems... frick... i don't know, tired. how many times are we going to have diablo vanquished, just to guard his soul, just to have someone come and break him out, just to vanquish diablo, just to guard his soul, just to have someone come and break him out, just toblahblahblahblah.
sure, death is cool and all... it would be nice to protray death in a video game as a good guy... or at the very least, a neutral character. death reaps bad guys too...
anyways... it looks like the crusader is going have much more emphasis on having a shield... which could be cool, since no one uses shields unless you are woefully undergeared. it'll be interesting to see how that develops.
