That's saying nothing at all though - I am in the same boat. I am back if they fix some basic stuff... "If they fix some basic stuff" is the same as "IF if if they can correct the fundamental design mistakes the whole game experience is build upon". Because like you say the game is smooth as silk, graphics are fine, engine is fine (only thing I'd want is higher res character models to allow for more detailed equipment variety). The story-telling and flow are atrocious (not to speak of the actual story being told, just the method), and character advancement is FAR too linear and on a +gooder monorail.Depending on what they do I'll be there day1 with cash in hand. Diablo3 still has the best ARPG engine out there and if they fix some basic stuff like itemization and bland end-game the game could consume me.
The level cap increase smells of a MMO style expansion which isnt good news either, I reckon they let level 60 rot in shitty itemization and just push the reset button at level 61, like TBC and every Wow expansion since did. And when they do that it'll just another clue to them not getting "Diablo" at all and just having a MMO design team stumble around in the dark... as if them polling the players for ideas and spending all day in meetings talking about maybe this or that wasnt clue enough.
