Actually, a dagger offhand is not the best. I'm assuming you're referring to WW barbs. 1.2/1.3 MH and a 1.5 OH do not mesh up that well for tornado break points, leaving you with some wasted IAS. 1.2 and 1.4 match up very well, but not perfectly. Though, I still say a EF OH with a cold SoJ is what you want. That aside, at high crit levels, 15% damage and 10% crit from weapon master are very close in DPS.

Monks and witch doctors aren't picky about their weapon types.

I generally do pick up 61+ 1H weapons but what should I be looking for with monks/wd? Usually I'll search if I get a 1k DPS 1H to see if it is worth anything but I'm out of my element with those classes.

The +aps from ef gets counted for both so you have two identical speed weapons with the same ias boost so they hit the same breakpoint with the same ias. I agree with you an ef with +.24 aps and a 6%/30% cold soj are pretty much Jesus.

What's everybody do for a typical item farm run in Act 3? I've basically just been using Alk's XP run, but is there a better method to the madness?

For an item farm I'd run Alk's basic XP run but add the cave in the fields of slaughter for the nice loot in level 2, skycrown battlements for the highest elite density in act 3, and stonefort until you hit the keywarden for his guaranteed loot pinata and (assuming low MP) still a small chance at a key. If you farm act 3 enough hitting up stonefort you'll never need to go out of your way to farm act 3 keys.

Edit: And when you port to Rakkis Crossing you could backtrack to check for the underbridge. Takes about 30 seconds or so to check probably and there can be an elite outside and if the underbridge is up it has a guaranteed elite and can also spawn a resplendent and/or loot goblin. On rare occasions it'll have all 3 for a nice bonus.

I've noticed too that the shit I put up for sale has stopped selling. Can hardly give stuff away now. The only things that sell are mats and gems, but I've stopped selling those in anticipation of the next patch. I'm wondering if most of the active playerbase has buggered off to try PoE.

Finally crafted my first Hellfire ring. I guess its good for MP0 farming. It rolled with +MF/+GF.

It's about half of act 3. The XP runs focus on the mob dense areas which because of the amount of them and how quickly they're killed have a good legendary drop rate also. After that it's about hitting the areas with the most resplendents and elites for items. Longer clears are preferred for item farm as well since you don't need to rebuild stacks of NV as often.

As far as the hellfire ring I'd consider a MF/GF ring a good roll just so that once you craft a 2nd you can throw that one on your follower. You get 20% of some follower stats with the EXP (7% isn't bad), MF, and GF all adding to yours. It's not much but better than giving him one with just stats.

I'm just getting back into this as a barb. I have both the bull kathos swords. What's the best duel wield spec right now?
Also I got a key from a named one but what am I supposed to do with it? And how do I change he mp levels?

I just do alk runs on MP4. I try to balance the mp level for speed, 12-15 minutes per run with looting seems a good indication of the right MP.

Can anyone help me with a PC on these. There are no real comps on the AH. There is one pair with less vit/int for 85M BO and I feel like that is way overpriced since it lacks RA/IAS.

Also if I get another legendary Diabo I'm going to flip my shit.

God damn they have changed monk quite a bit. Act 4 is a joke now for me where as before I really struggled to even get past the first two or so levels. :O

I kind of want to ditch my softcore monk and roll hardcore all the time now.

did they ever fix that bug for monks where you got extra dmg for sweeping wind if you cast it after fully buffing yourself?

I'm fairly certain it bases off of current dps with whatever your highest stack is at the time or the last time you pressed the button. You can most likely still do it but it will be way more obnoxious to keep it up like that.

However, I could be totally wrong. May test it out later.
