Last game NP just teleports over and over into the enemy fountain. This game is cancer for the soul.

EE's magnum opus. Reddit is a fucking shit storm of puppey hate. Cant wait to hear from the other pros like RTZ and universe on it, although universe wont probably wont say shit. Misery is supposed to be coming out with statement tonight, lol. I cant stand celebrity gossip but do love me some fucking dota gossip.

Sounds like the fact that these are all really young guys, they're getting screwed pretty often.

These players should get lawyers.

I don't want to defend Puppey much, but I got the feeling that he was treating Dota as an easy payday ever since ti2/3, since they were fucking around and on top of the world. The dude's really good player and captain, you don't win championships otherwise. That gives a better background to Secret - Puppey wanted to make more money and in turn give more cash to the people playing with him, but the numbers had to add up at some point. Kemal looks like somebody business savvy enough to convince Puppey about anything and dude's got the money - which gives you always the upper hand in negotiations. So Puppey ends up with a team that is making a lot of money, however he promised bigger than they could deliver, unless they won TI. However since the pressure gets bigger every year with the prize pool, it always blows up and suddenly all the skeletons come out of the closet. Since Puppey wants the least amount of effort (since he can come back and win at any time), he turns down potential sponsors, since he treats them as not worth his time, compared to what they could win if they perform.

The Panda TV deal, well it's somebody encroaching on his territory - he hates streaming and who could deal with EE poking his nose into how the team is run ? So he tanks the deal, maybe not intentionally, but hey, reddit will understand. Then Kemal tells him again that the big sponsors will show up at any moment.

For me it reads like a story of somebody getting into something he has no idea about and being convinced, and in turn promising, that he can deliver heaven and earth. Mix that with some age old CIS ego problems and you got Puppey.

Some grade A prime drama. Misery blog:

Confirms mostly the money issues. Here's the best two:

" I managed to get kicked twice from the same team before I got my share of the money. 4Head"

"There is hope though. We live in a world where a 20 million USD prizepool gets paid out a few days after the tournament ends, directly to the players. Why can’t other tournaments and organisations do the same?

DC does it. Salary on time, everything in order, full transparency. Good shit."

As soon as I learned that Kemal was the whale bankrolling secret. I lost a lot of respect. I figured puppey just found himself a whale, I guess puppey is part of the mastermindery though. He's always been a massive ego.

The sad part is he fills out the Eastern European/Russian stereotype perfectly: drinking too much and wanting to fight everything within 10 miles. No wonder him and Xboct didn't get along, they probably backyard brawled after every match they lost. Sigh.

Ranked game, 19 to 6 our lead, steamrolling enemy team, the entire enemy team had basically accepted the loss (like 15 minutes into game), our undying decides it's time to troll (for no reason, he started talking shit in lobby because of our picks but was playing, then just afk jungled once he got guardian greaves til the game ended). Good times in dota land. Instantly got the "action against reported player" message tho, so there's that.

it's crazy how toxic ranked is compared to normal games (which is toxic enough)

but of the 3 placement games i've played it was pretty much full tilt every game despite who gets mad and decides to throw.

edit: LOL i didn't even see all this drama, i saw emote meme spams but didn't know wtf it was for when watching rtz

Funnily enough, there was actually some tournament that Puppey showed up to 2-3 years ago where he had a black eye. I wish I could find the video.

Of all the Puppey drama the video is the thing that bothers me the least. Who the fuck plays Dota and doesn't fucking rage from time to time? Hell, I broke a keyboard last year over some fucking 2k pub game lol.

It's different if he was using that blow up as some sort of reminder to kuro and zai that you don't want to fuck with him in light of some of the other threats of physical violence.
