TI2: Almost no east vs west LANs, nobody knew what to expect.
TI3: Navi and Alliance were trading wins before TI, Navi got to grand finals thanks to some fountain hooks
TI4: DK clear favorites, Newbee had to battle through a gauntlet to even get to the main event.
TI5: Secret murdered everybody in the 3 months before TI, including EG. LGD/CDEC still looked more solid, but ppd happened.
TI6: Wings bombed at Manilla major, they could win but also fall apart instantly. OG looked better on paper than EG, DC was the dark horse nobody saw coming.

They definitely bombed at Manila Major, but they also took second at Nanyang and dominated everyone at the Summit immediately before TI. I'm not claiming I called it, but I distinctly remember a number of commentators/casters rating Wings highly. DC was definitely a dark horse though.

sh1t is such a bad drafter. Outdrafted 2 games in a row on top of not looking sharp at all. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up in the bottom 8 this one. DC on the other hand is looking good. Abed is a god.
