I would fucking love it if a hoard of his past lovers came out to defend him. I grew up loving this guy, it isn't like I want to believe he is a rapist. Give me reason to doubt it!

I didn't think much of this when you first said it, but then yesterday I heard someone mention how Phylicia Rashad was defending him. I thought they must be wrong, so I looked it up and lo and behold she is. Not only that, but apparently everyone else on the cast is too, more or less, except for one guy who played his son in law. At the very least all the women are saying he was kind and never molested them. In fairness, Lisa Bonet has been completely silent, so who knows, maybe he drugged and raped her. I think she was in the right age range at the time. But then again, she also has no social media at all according to her publicist, so maybe she's made it a policy to stay out of shit like that.

Funny how you (nor I) had heard about this. It's almost like people who defend him aren't getting much media attention.

Phylicia made those comments way before the deposition was released, and did make the news when she said it. All those people remain quiet till this day ..

If they are soooo convinced he never did anything wrong why not come out in force, and defend him now when it counts.

Not that I agree with Column's stance, but cast members defending him is of middling value. If he was raping women, it seems very doubtful that he would have raped any of the cast or even anyone directly involved with the show, and Phylicia Rashad was probably older than he would have been interested in anyway.

Except that you do agree with it soooo, you got that going for you. Which is nice.

Anyway, the specific request was made for co workers who support him or at least say it didn't sound like him. You didn't make the request, so you are free to poo-poo their opinions. You are wrong about the not raping co workers thing, in the stories I read (admittedly only like 2% of them), that's pretty much how he got access to the girls who are accusing him. He invited them over to help their careers, and got them jobs and all that jazz. You are right that claire was probably too old. Rudy and olivia were way too young. That leaves 2 regular cast members that I can think of as potential targets, Denise (I don't know how old she was in RL) and that older sister who was off in college.
