its not as hard as you might imagine. what came out in 2024?

let me try looking at morts 2024 reviews.

rogue waters
tactical breach wizards
metaphor:refant
dragonage veilguard.

(I didnt check out if any of these were old games)

he does also do the "check out" videos, which are more for Early access games.

reviewing this I see Vrising 1.o was this year. that should get a nod.

what of that list is a contender?
vrising, space marine 2, dragonage, metaphor, boltgun, skald, another crabs treasure?
does rogue trader count even though it was technically december of 2023? also, very buggy at release, its good NOW.

Hell, I NEVER buy games at release. my "GOTY" is always like 3 years old. ha.
Even if it was literally the only game that came out this year he still shouldn't be calling it GOTY.

False.

You can RECCOMEND the channel be removed, and it will be temporarily hidden, but it doesnt go away forever. I have un-recommended many channels and have seen them in my feed again like 3 days later.

The way the characters in this game look make me very worried. It just reeks of trash.

Your shit must be broken then!

I mean their metacritic average isn't even that high so that's pretty telling if they handpicked the reviewers and still didn't land 90+ average. It's like 84 average, which if gaming reviews were done correctly would be very good but seeing as how gaming reviews often scale from 7 to 10 makes it mediocre. I watched the skill up review and while I think it was too long and yapping too much about the same shit in circles, I'm definitely going to assume the game is lukewarm piss, with low impactful choices, no tension and a very whimsical pixar-like adventure with one big turn point near the end that eventually gets resolved anyway(although the Skill Up guy mentionned that last part was actually good). Poor writing, poor characters, dogshit combat, yeah that sounds pretty much like what I'd expected.
They handpicked the youtube "reviewers", and aside from a couple that somehow slipped through (you know someone got their ass chewed off today for giving Skill Up a code, and they also DMCA'ed the Spanish streamer girl who claimed to be non-binary to get access) they are a bunch of shills as expected. Review websites seem to have just all got codes like any other release, so that's why the scores are all over the board.

Apparently it's full of leftist DEI talking points and ideology.

Dude isnt even reviewing, hes just repeating what others have said - dont get me wrong, the game seems aids, but who gives a fuck about someone else saying what someone else said as the focal point of the video?

I mean that's most of the posters here. Watch something then regurgitate it as their own opinion.

here's another one for ya

interesting that this guy is also claiming the finale is fantastic. its just the rest of the game thats shit. skill up also made that claim. finale is actually pretty good.

Mass effect was like that too. Up to Virmire and that game was ok at best. famously it was a mishmash of problems, that all just miraculously game together in a whole greater then the parts. and its amazing finale without a doubt was a huge part of that. you hit Virmire, and meet Sovreign, wrex confrontation, ashley/kaiden, talk to Saren. plot and pace just goes to 11 from there on.

The original dragon age games were edgey garbage that I would have considered was cool and insightful maybe if I was 12. Oooh, racism in high fantasy?! Just like the real world, wow so deep!! What an allegory!! This series was always trash, anyone that had any hopes for this at any point in time is just retarded, esp after they did that reveal where the art was some Disney Pixar looking trash. I never understood why people loved this middling shit so much when there were much better games out at that time way back

I played them and enjoyed them at the time, but I have no vested interest in the IP really. So this looks like an easy skippa skippa for me.

Aside from the first two bullshit zones, Inquisition was very good with all the DLC. Deleting early quest bloat would have made that a 95%+ game.
