Yeah I have the hp regen one as well, fuck if I can remember what dropped it though. Some field boss.

I found a HP regen talisman. I would assume there's an FP one out there somewhere as well.

HP regen is soooo good in these games.

I think there are several different styles of talisman for FP regen. I do think there's something with just pure regen over time, but I think it's pretty late game.

HP regen talisman location:

It's from the chest in Leyndell next to the golem, where you get teleported by the Tower of Return. Which is cool, because it should be easy to get early on for subsequent playthroughs.

I've permanently grafted the HP regen talsiman around my cock Godrick style.

But seriously, I only swap it out for tough boss fights that are over quickly one way or the other.

I was using the stamina regen and the backstab-heal ones most of the time.

I think the way "Points of Interest" are handled here is just really great. In that they are not handled at all. You could totally get through the entire game with just the starting weapon if you want to.

It doesn't feel like a laundry list of things you just have to do. When you go look at the interactive map or something and there's a weapon in some place you missed that you don't really want? Whatever just ignore it.

You do need to keep your eye out for catacombs and mines though as you will be light on upgrade mats. Especially if you like trying out new weapons a lot. Which I do.

The weird thing is that's all optional. Had me stumped for where to go for quite awhile, since I didn't notice the final path immediately.
Nothing in this game is optional to me.

You and me both. I plan to 100% this, glad to hear from Hatorade that you can keep playing post-credits.
I'm planning the same, am clearing out each area as much as possible before moving on. It's going to be a loooong haul though, especially if there's some arduous post-game content.

Main story boss spoilers:

Patches had a summon sign down for the Radahn fight, that bitch shows up and takes one look at Radahn and uses the finger severer thing and returns home immediately lol.

For real though I have absolutely no idea how any of you poor melee fucks are supposed to fight Radahn. His attacks are all so huge and he never stops that it wasn't even clear to me from my vantage when it would be possible to damage him? I just blasted him in to pieces with meteors while Alexander and Blaidd tanked, but good god if I had to go actually hit him with a sword I don't even know where you'd begin.

Me too eventually, the problem will be that there is so much shit to do that by the time I start looking for what I missed online I’m not going to remember if I’ve done it already

Question.... I have Tree sentinel weapon I meet the str and dex requirements but not the faith. That means I just can't use the special buff it gives? Also if you equip a weapon (2 handing it) but you either meet one or none of the str or dex requirements how much does it affect your damage and attacks?

Good question. Without knowing for sure, my guess is at the very least you'll have negative scaling for the holy damage.

I would recommend always meeting whatever requirements a weapon needs, otherwise you are needlessly gimping yourself.

Until you meet stat requirements, your weapon will have decreased attk/dmg values. When your stats get close, sometimes you can wield a weapon 2-handed and not suffer penalties, but then you have to keep remembering not to use a shield, dual wield, etc. It's easier if you just meet the requirements.

Also for the Golden Halberd in particular, I like the buff it gives, so I think meeting the faith requirement is useful, otherwise it's just a 2-handed weapon that doesn't have a useable L2, since you can't use ashes on it.

Did anyone ever find out what this section on the map is:

Capture.PNG

It's one of those statues up the hill to the east of the plague church but it points down in to the Radahn beach area and that's all just empty near as I can tell?

If you use it 2h it doubles your stats so you can equip it this way even if you have half the stats for it with no penalty. That weapon scales with STR and FAITH tho so you'll want to put into those ones. I've been using that weapon for awhile until I found one I liked more.

So I finally learned (thanks to this thread) that I needed to 'activate' Godrick's Rune and that was possibly the most underwhelming thing I've seen in a game ever. It adds zero stats when equipped, despite the in-game text suggesting otherwise, and only does something if you use a Ring Arc which are rare as fuck unless you manage to farm via helping people with bosses.

As a pure mage I'm currently running around with the Meteorite Staff, the two-faced statue head, and otherwise still wearing my Astrologer kit. I have 60 Int, 25 Mind but otherwise crap stats. Thoughts? The Raya Lucaria gear, other than the statue heads, seemed not as nice as the Astrologer Kit and that was kind of a bummer to be certain.

(I also had to look up the whole Flask of Physick business since I kept acquiring Tears and had no idea what the fuck they were for)

I haven't explored Caelid, but as far as I can tell from my playthrough so far, those statues point exclusively to Catacombs. So I'd be looking for that.
