I use rune arcs constantly. +5 to all stats is nutty, and if you ever get low on them just dump your coop pool sign and you can spam through like 5-10 boss encounters in no time at all.

Clearly you are having a different experience with coop pool signs... I dropped mine a few times (while on a work call for example) and get maybe one invite every 20 mins.

The 'notes' would be a lot more helpful had the UX been slightly less awful. The default view for the middle pane in the inventory doesn't actually show the contents of the note or cookbook. Only by shifting the mid-display do you actually see the contents of the note itself. Given that there is no information at all in the 'default' version of the mid pane for paper-type key items this could have been avoided with better design.

It'll be at least another 20 levels and 2-3 items farmed before my Confessor is worth a fuck. Def not a starter class for noobs. I have no other weapon choices that are valid, so I'm stuck for at least 10-15 levels of grinding and fixing it is a quest in itself. The irony is I ended up with the 2 most massive special weapon attacks on each armament, when I had 0 plans from day 1 of being a melee. Literally shot myself in the foot.

Would not recommend.

Overall, I think they've done a VERY good job at pointing you toward things of interest. Statues that point to catacombs, ghostly dudes that walk you to caves, vendor-bought notes that tell you where to find this amazing Flask, or give you other useful information. Unrelated, regarding Edgelordy McSkellyFace in Roundtable Hold:

I teleported to RTH from the Village of Albinaurics after clearing it out, summoning Nephali to help me with Omenkiller. It did the NPC invader thing that they did in DS1 and DS3, where it mimics a multiplayer invasion. Does anyone know the actual trigger for this happening? The main RTH guy (Nephali's father) then proceeded to apologize for the guy (Ensha maybe?) attacking me, so perhaps it had something to do with my interaction with Nephali? Dunno, curious what it is.

I had the same experience though I didnt summon to kill Omenkiller, had the same invasion and actually that's the armor I'm rocking in the pic I posted.

I don't know for sure but I assume killing the Omen dude is what triggered the invasion on my next warp back to RTH.

Once you kill him go where he used to stand and grab his set.

I know I will probably never use them, im the person that saves all of the good potions in RPGs in case I need them later and then end up with a full stack in my bag.

That's been me since the earliest Final Fantasy games. I almost NEVER use consumable shit if it's remotely uncommon. I'm trying to change that up with this game...

That hasn't been my experience. On PS5, when I drop my sign, it takes less than a minute, most of the time less than 10 seconds. As

ronne mentioned it's a great way to farm rune arcs, at least on the Playstation.

If you don't care about achievements, then use it for runes.

If you do care about achievements, then you want to use it for an item, even if you will never use it, because there is an achievement for getting all the "legendary" weapons.

I'm wondering just how much LSD From's art team drops on the reg to come up with some of their boss/mob designs.

I am never buying from any scalping website ever again, that includes Wal-mart. I am firmly against the practice, I didn't scalp my fucking TOOL tickets for thousands of dollars, anyways let me change the subject. Scalping, I hate it and will not support it, I have plenty of patience and PS4 games to even start tbh. To the ones scalping Elden Ring deluxe copies and the one, I would have enjoyed not having to see priced at 1k. I will not support these places, take me to the source fuck all the current state of the industry, that goes for all of them.
