I think I understand how they said anyone can beat this and it is in theory one of the easiest souls games. There are some really OP things you can do.
Lot of bosses won't let u do that solo

Lol that’s what my guy looks like, but switches back and forth between uchigatana and meteor staff. Doing a hybrid build with enough str/dex to be able to clear trash with melee and break out the spells for the bosses and harder mobs. Seems to work well enough so far, but really need more FP. Is there anything around that adds regen of any kind for it?
Also need to find a sword that scales with int better than the uchi nodded to add some magic damage and int scaling
HP regen is soooo good in these games.
I think there are several different styles of talisman for FP regen. I do think there's something with just pure regen over time, but I think it's pretty late game.
I think he’s weapon swapping by going two handed? Or cycling the one sword out completely. You see him put a sword away right before that parry then pull it back out.I don’t get how he is using two weapon abilities, I must be missing something
Did anyone ever find out what this section on the map is:

It's one of those statues up the hill to the east of the plague church but it points down in to the Radahn beach area and that's all just empty near as I can tell?
I finished Godrick and while I found the basement optional boss I completely missed the Lion one as I went around the back. Damn.
See for a first time souler like myself I have a very hard time remember rolling into attacks. I’m so use to either jumping back or rolling backwards in other games to avoid a hit. It’s damn near counter intuitive for me. If I get hit and fall on the ground my first reaction is to roll backwards or jump and BAM I’m dead cause I literally rolled into the attack. I died countless of times because of this. One thing I learned from good souls streamer is to avoid only rolling back or to a side. Roll frontal over the attack instead! The souls game are not counting a hit when something passes you midair. Advantage: you are in front of the mob and get a window of opportunity instead having rolled away.
Also ER allows you to jump(!) over many attacks and some spells. And yes, parry is very underrated but needs practice.

yeah with colossal swords those extra swings you requested a decade ago show up like a burp from yesterday's taco bell.Yeah this is definitely something that takes getting used to, but you will find the game so much easier once you learn to lean in. Try practicing on those giants that are chained to the big black carts since they tend to be easier to dodge. Get in FRONT of one of them, and when they lift their foot up, roll into them and you will notice you will usually end up behind them, ready to strike. Another thing to learn is not to mash the button, you don't want to roll more than once (which again, from personal experience, I know is hard to do especially in the heat of the moment. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally roll too many times and away from the mob, or accidentally drink more than 1 health potion).
Stop using fucking peddles to roll around. It’s no wonder your dick and legs are twitching every time you get near a ledge.anyone else getting really tired of the cremasteric reflex getting triggered from trying to get items near ledges? A pain in the nether regions, I haven't had it this much since jedi knight.
