Also this is an awesome weapon. Can't remember where I found it though.
Mimic remains the best, uses whatever you have equipped to full effect. Tiche is OK but the fact the damage it does can disappear and the heavy mind investment it isn't as good.If you're a high level, does Mimic Tear re-become the best summon over Tiche? Yeah, Tiche is better, but if the Mimic copies your stats, I imagine there's a point where it surpasses Tiche.
Its situational. Tiche is great if you need some damage and are spamming bleed. Mimic is best if you just need a tank distraction, especially if your main character is tanky with a decent weapon art. I also like mimic for costing HP so I can manage my magic pots in certain situations. I ran Mimic for the naturalborne of the void fight, but Tiche was clutch against Mogh in his fortress. Unbelievably, you can curb stomp the lord of blood with bleeding. But having Mimic rock Darkmoon Greatsword can be handy too.If you're a high level, does Mimic Tear re-become the best summon over Tiche? Yeah, Tiche is better, but if the Mimic copies your stats, I imagine there's a point where it surpasses Tiche.
Bow only PvP, the way he uses the different arrows is awesome.
LOL what weapon is that?
Yea sword dance is lowkey the best sword/pole art heh. It gets slept on tho cause everyone is too busy jerking themselves off over moonveil and rivers of blood
Also, depending on your build, Tiche is always better than mimic, at any level.Depending on your build, tiche is never better than mimic, at any level
Tiche's dagger isn't a bleed weapon, it's straight HP% reduction (which is why it sometimes looks like the boss got healed by it). It actually makes bleed slightly worse, since bleed is % damage, and by reducing the boss' max hp it means bleeds do slightly less damage. On the plus side though, it means Tiche is actually very useful against the bosses (like the final one) which are completely immune to bleed.Tiche is great if you need some damage and are spamming bleed.
It wasn't imo, except in certain cases where you could get mimic to run around doing basically nothing but hoarfrost stomp spam.I'm honestly not convinced mimic was ever better than Tiche even before the nerfs, mimic just had meme power behind it and no one really bothered with Tiche.
On my caster build I cant count how many times Ive yelled at Tiche for just dodging around and not doing anything to get agro for me so I could unload on the boss. And even when it does agro, the agro he gets rarely lets me cast more than 2 casts. Mimic, even after the nerf, for some reason will hold agro so much better.
You don’t have to die to get to them. There a way to get there from the main area of lava manor.Twin Abductor is the only fight I know of (besides Lichdragon which is unavailable) that I never actually did. In the postgame I always had a Rune Arc activated and didn't like that you had to take a death to reach that boss. Figured I'd check it out whenever I died next, but I never died again (was mostly just grinding levels and mauling early-game areas I missed at that point).
Was like "do I really want to take a death and lose my rune arc to fight a horrible twin robot boss"
I guess it's down to play style, because personally I didn't care about the summon tanking for me while fighting the bosses I killed with sorcery (or Moonveil/Wing of Astel/Death's Poker for that matter). I wanted it to do damage, which means you either have to be extremely selective with your spell loadout and only bring the 2 or 3 things mimic would actually be capable of using effectively or you have to enter the fight with your sword equipped, summon the mimic, heal, then swap back to your staff, all while hoping the boss doesn't bend you over during the extra 5+ seconds it takes for the tear to take your form and begin fighting. Tiche does a black knife weapon skill about 0.5 seconds after you ring the bell, every single time, and if it hits she usually has the initial aggro.This. Tiche is terrible compared to Mimic as a caster. It's not even close.
Pretty much, yes. Go to the status screen and hit Y/Triangle and you can see the exact % reduction you have for all the damage types. As long as you aren't wearing two soreseals and a scorpion charm, up around level 150 you'll have good DR no matter what armor you're using. I choose my armor for special effects (silent chest is a must imo), looks (silent chest also one of the best looking), and poise (minimum of 50 to get the first bit of hyperarmor).Am I correct in this? It certainly feels like I'm just MUCH more survivable now that I'm level 140 in the end game, regardless of what armor I'm wearing.
