The more I think about how bad the Kerrans look, the more I think they need to keep it. They fit with the style of the other models we have seen but nobody seems to like them.
That should be kept. Also the poll "Should dwarf females have beards" what kind of questions is that? Dwarf woman HAVE beards. That should not be a choice.
The fact that the dwarf woman have beards and the Kerrans look retarded would mean less dwarf woman and less Kerrans in the game, that is a good thing. Because when you see them it would be funny and refreshing and a talking point.

Were you the best Monk simple because you had the best gear? Imagine if you and 5 other Monks all had 'best in slot'. Who was the best Monk then?
I would assume the one who understood the mechanics the best. The one who had the most game knowledge. The one that had the best mechanical skill. The one who could take all of those an apply it. Why does that all disappear just because you can't have more +Stats than them?
To me, it seems like the potential to distinguish yourself actually becomes greater with their gear plan. A piece of gear is not the best because of some static value on it. Instead, it becomes the best because of how it synchronizes with your abilities, and how you apply it. It's not a binary X has more Agility, so X must be better.

false equivalency unfortunately. if mmos had 1ms response times and frame hit detection. sure.. but they don't. they have 10s cooldowns on skills. 1.5s globals, mythic seconds, often lock on targeting.
just having a block is revolutionary in mmos it seems.

My point was, if you can tell someone's skill level from a game in which 1ms counts but the control scheme is always static, it should be extremely easy to weed out the mouth breathers in a game that has 40 classes and hundreds* of abilities.
