You can tell 3 of the 4 women have really high armor class. Firiona Vie needs to lose some more midriff covering and show some thigh.

Also my first impression was "is that an orc?" but no, it's the abomination of an ogre?

Ogre Mage was one of my favorite race/class to play in D&D, they were bound by a totall y different set of rules due to their race and class. You can find them in the Humanoids Handbook.
From what i remember took 2x exp per each level, and ever 4 or 8 levels they get a new innate ability. Fun to play but a pain as well, but the rewards were worth the extra effort.

I imagine with the new dynamic AI in EQN the birds would become rather upset with that. I can't wait to see what kind of unique gameplay emerges from these irate fowl

Ya with them having 40 'classes' and each class having two different weapon styles/choices, I am going to be very surprised if firearms is not part of that list. (probably in more than one class as well).

Expect the Next part of the title to justify any changes that seem out of place in EQ. It's very deliberate and until something called EQ3 is announced, it's better to make peace with what you expected from this game than to cringe at any new announcement or poll that gets thrown out there. I say that as someone who dreams of EQ3 (and will still cringe at new polls and announcements).

SOE probably considered an all new IP but figured the amount of people that would be drawn in by the EQ name far outweighs the people that will be turned away in anger at misuse of it.

It's still the only upcoming MMO I'm excited about and I'm not going to lie, any little concept art that references an old zone or item or boss name gets me all hot and bothered. As it stands I'm hoping this turns out to be a good MMO in Norrath. We'll see how that works out.

i think the tell tale sign that this game has gone from suck to blow is that even people who were blindly defending the choices the devs were making just a little over a week ago are already changing their tune. zzeris had georgeson balls deep inside of him last week and is now posting "fuck these guys." doesn't bode well for this game.

The WoW influence is palpable. Despite an mmo graveyard littered with corpses of those who have attempted to out-WoW Wow, they are STILL attempting the same; they are simply trading the gimmicks of their predecessors for voxels and parkouring.

Which admittedly be hilarious. Can you imagine some guy who likes killing ambient rats and critters eventually going into a dungeon and having a tidal wave of rats come and devour him.
