I used to get into it, but now I am just over it. I will do OW when I am available, but not the 24/7 on call thing anymore. Before if a BP went off, used to drop everything and rush to get on. now if I am busy or doing something, i just shrug and continue. More busy RL and age, hell of a thing.
Maybe I am getting old. Could be too as a support class my contribution to a <20 second fight is laughable, so not as much adrenaline hit, as the parser chasers. Granted these days it seems, even if I was a wizard, you blow every hoop charge and wand charge you have, every fight. Then cast.

Also just enjoying the slow ride of leveling. Glad I’ve finally gotten to hit some of those places I never got to level in back in the day. Sebilis is such a cool zone as a concept. Chardok seems awesome, too. Love that you can rep with them, there’s a bank, etc. quests for them. It’s such a cool concept you don’t see nearly enough in MMOs.

On selo, we had a clear agreement on what the target was (aten) just like here (pd). Faceless got the lions share of early dps races. They got to 60 first. They got emp first. They didn't get aten first. They admitted they lost.
You lost. Stop moving the goalposts.

I don't actually know if Vicious faked the shot. Pretty sure I never said that. Was more likely the guy making the videos, he's clearly computer literate and has a sense of humor. But someone faked it, Vicious said it was faked, everyone from the Faceless discord said it was faked, and you've been trolling ever since. Least I thought you were trolling but... no, you actually believed it. Yikes, dude. Still don't know who you are in game. You should go spend some time batphoning and zone-camping in my post history to find more stuff to call me an idiot on. Like I said, we're playing two different games. We've got some folk here who decide what the parameters for winning are after the fact, then demand we meet them on that battlefield/parameter, when we already had our own goals going in. To be fair, I'd say both guilds have been successful on this server so far.
Absolutely, bard is huge for OW fights. I'd say bard is probably the most underrated class in the expansion. Bard = five other people not running away nearly as often during a dragon fight. When those five people are key DPSers, the bard just added to the fight immeasurably. There are never enough bards.
You 100% made the right call there, dude.

Whats the OW tally now and when was the last time faceless won a OW target they showed up to? Its been a while.
They are still trying to compete, they are just continuing to not succeed on a different metric.
Its not moving goal posts, there are just different score cards.

He was a necro on LJ and raid lead for a bit. No clue on the rest of that nonsense in that post. I don't remember him being such an ass though, bit of an ego but something that is probably needed to corral the sheep on raids. Can't remember how long he was around, that was so long ago.
Who uses EQ official forums to thump their own chest, man people are weird. Or worse the trolls here camping those forums hard to look for it.

EQ TLP drama has always been a bit bad and sad. It's old ass game that a very small % of people are about it anymore. Worse now because you know almost everyone is a middle aged man(and some women),very few are actually young, which makes you just shake your head.
Selo was only funny because of the cameo stuff, which was new and with people the general population would recognize as celebrities(Which made it more funny because what did they do with their money that they are having to make EQ TLP guild drama videos on the side). As you saw earlier in this thread, trying to do it now was just pathetic.
Edit: Case in point, the poor guy who's entire life is EQ and his rant below. Someone did something naughty to him on vulak and he's waited 10+ years for revenge!

So let me get this straight.
RI tells Zaide they think PD is the goal.
Zaide agrees with RI that PD is the goal.
Zaide builds his entire launch around burning everyone out to get to PD asap so he can say Faceless "won" because he still has Vulak Server PTSD.
RI enjoys their launch, gets sleep, casually hit 60 on their raid force. Soaks up Epics, Kunark titles, and early Krono.
Zaide complains/brags there is no competition for a week straight.
RI activates their raid force and quite literally shuts Faceless out since they activated.
What's the score now? Triple digit OW kills 1XX to 2 for faceless since RI activated? And no kills or DPS Race wins for Faceless in the last 7 days.
If I were Faceless members, I'd be asking my leadership:
- Why in the hell they think they got anything of value to RI that first week they killed themselves for?
- Why the hell they are advertising their guild as an open world when they don't show and/or lose every DPS race by a wide margin?
- Why the hell Zaide's sure-to-be coming soon podcast is going to sound like rainbows and unicorn farts from faceless land when they are getting stomped.
- Why is Faceless the least fun top guild they have ever played with?
Sounds like RI are doing exactly what they set out to do, what they always do, and just weren't honest with their competition. Sounds like they were underestimated. Its Vulak all over again.
Where is Yawgmoth to save you now? Ansel isn't cutting it. He's a nice guy but you need a real TLP raid leader. Retire these Live/P99 raid leaders already. Bring in the Yawg. WE WANT THE YAWG.

Nobody cares about lockjaw or any of the people from lockjaw. That server was as irrelevant as thornblade. Yawg can lead faceless when you turn things in RI over to Grisvok.

True that. In OGC people bring up Citizen and "back on Fippy" so often that it became a meme. Nobody ever brought up Modest Man, or much of anything pertaining to Lockjaw at all.
Lockjaw's probably just a bad memory for most of the parties involved TBH. Bunch of drama and beefing and the server got completely eaten by Phinny and Agnarr.
