Pictures from allakhazam damage bonus is relative to the person taking that picture. I'm 90% sure that the Di'zok Escape staff is still worse than any 50 delay 1hander, as that 115 damage bonus is probably from a level 115 character taking the screenshot.

Mages seem like they'd be better, but pets are so good you never truly get to out of combat to med. That said, you can just send your pet and normal med, but yeah, wizards fuck. Druids/Shamans being able to easily solo heal groups now is nice too.

Yeah this was big for them. Can burn hard, then skip a mob, maybe 2 and be full and gtg. In a crowded dungeon, you might hit ooc ticks between pulls because its all cleared.

The value of Magicians during grouping/leveling versus Wizards isn't relevant. By improving Wizards in group content their raid utility is much less costly to access. The opportunity costs for maining one also go down. Having their group game get a huge buff makes them so much better it's crazy.

They still get overlooked for groups, the AFK Wizard stigma doesn't just go away overnight. It's still a class played by complete morons in most cases, the few good ones already hit max weeks ago.
Blowing all your mana then skipping mobs to get into ooc still has you out of action for like 3 minutes instead of 5. It's nice, but not as game changing as people think.

Serious raiders making dps boxes really werent having problems though. I doubt the ri dudes doing 4am sev vids were particularly fussed about the dps of a box. This matters a lot more for people leveling in pugs or other suboptimal groups where noncharm dps is a larger share, and where the ability to do things like smash level 30 trash for plat is as important or solely moreso than dps while raiding.
The stigma exists for a reason at this point. If someone makes a rogue main I am expecting them to be a certain type of person who wants an underplayed and undervalued class. Bard mains have a type. Warrior mains have more variance but most are a type. Wizards? Easily the most similar of all, and their type is does not want to do much. Nobody, and I mean nobody, plays a wizard and DOESNT fuck off unless they are either boxing or using it for heavy raid purposes. Anyone maining one for routine play is an afker, the exceptions if they even exist are going to be 1 or 2 total on the server maybe.
If you are a wizard and not just a mostly only raiding player or using boxes too, and this offends you... why did you choose a wizard?
