That was my thought when I learned personas have their own xp pool. It ruined the appeal. It's hard enough keeping one character caught up on AA's on the 2/3 month unlock cycle without getting burned out.
I always thought AAs were a great idea, but I guess there are other ways to keep players engaged. What systems do other long running MMOs implement to keep players grinding? I never played WoW.
Also wanted to chime in and agree with how unforgivably bad the Luclin model animations are.

I'm curious how the price of krono is gonna adjust tomorrow, i dont recall how much it changed with mischief but i do see a few item prices i'm waiting on cutting in half ahead of time already lol

The initial pressure on items is definitely deflationary. Right now you have to actually take the time to auction your wares and then complete trades with people. With the Bazaar you set up a trader and go to bed. There's a mountain of crap sitting in people's bags waiting to get listed. You can't actually buy an item with krono through the Bazaar so the value of plat is going to go up at least a little in the short term.

WoW for about 3 expansions had player power that you would grind out after max level to gain new abilities (huge oversimplification) but you would essentially log on every day/week to grind out Artifact Power/Azerite Power/Anima Power
They've sense got rid of this horrible system (moved it tradeskills) and the grind is really towards Mythic+, endlessly scaling dungeons.

I don't usually get hyped up about clear times, that's more Zaide's domain, but I gotta say I'm hyped about these. Qeynos Yacht Club with server-2nd Luclin clear, 11:16. Faceless with the new record Luclin clear at 8:31. Both got Emperor within the first several hours as well. QYC's time would have been 1st on just about any TLP server, historically. Very cool to see multiple guilds shredding the record books and future expansions just got a lot more interesting.
