This would be the top gear at level 60. There's back, mask, neck, charm.

VT-level gear that'd basically obsolete everything else for 4 slots until PoP. No way this gets in. Sure be fun if it did though!

Honestly it's the FT +1 augs that are the big thing. +5 mana Regen is quite a big deal for hybrids pre luclin. Drastically changes bard since can charm 5x as much

All the Anniversary NPCs are tied to expansions. DPG would need to intentionally set these to Classic or Kunark.

Also that gear seems a bit over hyped. That's not even BIS for a lot of classes in Velious.

Spirit Wracked Cord is technically out of era and it being in the game has very little impact on anything other then the KR stacks of a few people.

How difficult is the content itself?

It's really easy for the most part... with Vaniki twinking. On a normal server it's probably stuff you'll want at least 3 people for, 6 to be safe. A lot of the mobs I had to beat up were red con at 55 (around low 60's).

What's locked to 85, the gear?

The gear's roughly VT-level so no way it's in on Teek. If anything, the ornamentations might be purchasable but that's probably it. To avoid exploits they're better off just removing the ToT zone.



The second post is hilarious. Everything he said is probably spot-on, too. Only thing he forgot (not that it matters for Teek) is mentioning that Beastlords aren't competition for leather because they're too busy bidding up Monk H2H weapons that the Monks have been waiting weeks to see drop.
The Timeless Tower missions/rooms are locked to 85+. That's something they announced when they went live back in January. If they fucked that up, well, the gear is min 85. Not sure if the augs were level locked. That would be kind of hilarious.

The Timeless Tower missions/rooms are locked to 85+. That's something they announced when they went live back in January. If they fucked that up, well, the gear is min 85. Not sure if the augs were level locked. That would be kind of hilarious.
No no no, the scaled (25-125) gear is linked above your post.


No mention of locked to 85 anywhere.
The gear scales down to level 25 or so as seen in above posts.
Tower is accessible to lower level characters and that's already been tested on other servers to check the AE scaling, gear, and such.

Zaide said you can request with a level 1 and then persona over to your level 60 and everything will be pretty easy. I think you'd only need 1 person to persona from a level 1, then they can add 5 natural level 60's and boom ez.

The only thing I care about is the FT augs. Those are insane for Bard and not bad for other casters. Obviously not as good as they used to be because of out of combat regen and shit, but still really nice.

The rest is whatever. What is the dps increase on level 60 epic monks with 30 extra attack? Any guesses? That might be bigger than I thought.

-Anniversary Tower can be zoned into at any level

-They give the same currency at every level (10 tokens per quest or mission)

-UNSURE if they can be repeated or not. The group missions are the only ones that I think are repeatable, given that they have an 8 hour replay timer which indicates replayability. But I don't know.

-The reward merchant's item list populates as you do the quests.

-The rewards on the merchant are either dependent on your current level, or dependent on what level you last did the missions, and are in tiers of "every ten levels". At level 60 the top-tier gear is the level 55 set Outstanding. Doing the quests at 60 is all you need to worry about, if they're on Teek at all.

-The initial set of quests aren't group quests, they're solo tasks. I don't think persona-switching will work. Also you might need to do them at the appropriate level in order to unlock the right set of gear.

-The other set of quests are group missions in an instance, and getting those on a low-level character then doing them as a high level group might work. The low-level character might have to zone in first, not sure if the mobs inside are populated/scaled when the mission is grabbed or when someone zones in, since it's a Heroic Adventure with weird coding.

-I don't think it's necessary to get the missions with a low-level character and gimp them, unless you just really want to shave off a few minutes of time. The missions are super-short (fight 5 or 6 mobs, two at a time, in one room) and a solid level 55-60 group can do the one for that range without issue. Someone who is soloing or duoing might need a lowbie requester though.

-The rewards include 3 pieces of VT-level gear, a charm that's better than anything until...I'm not sure, whenever a charm with better than 20 AC and 30 HP comes along, +ATK augs, and +Mana Regen augs. Along with a lot of other stuff that's useless, like +4 of a stat augs and ornamentations (that are also available in the Station Store).

-Nobody will know if the tower is available on Teek until someone runs up to it and tries to zone in...and promptly gets booted out to the queue as the zone has been locked. Godspeed.

The mission unlocks are cheevos, so do them on one persona and they are available on all of them. Cool about the scaling, that seems nice. The mount has azia-beza on it, so worth farming the 375 tokens for on a new server.

I think the mount buff might be locked to some expansion. Can't summon it until Luclin regardless. Also I think I made a mistake, I mentioned there's a charm and it's better than anything else for a while. Well, now that I think about it, the charm slot itself might not show up until PoP. Not sure if the maxed-out PoP charm is better than this one. EDIT: Nevermind, charm slot exists before PoP, it's just that before now charms themselves didn't.

Also bear in mind that the augs, while not lore, are Type 25 which means they only work with equipment from these missions. So no filling your equipment slots with Tower augs, unfortunately. With 3 pieces of gear (4 if the charm is equippable) that's 3 augs you can place, or +3 Mana Regen / +12 Attack. Unless I'm missing something obvious, which I could be because I didn't spend much time investigating this. People keep saying FT5 so I probably am missing something.

FT3 is still pretty damn good regardless and not game-breaking, so hopefully they leave this in.
