Tharkis, a guildie <Phank> has a nice writeup on how to change key bindings. He is a big fan of ESDF and used that:

So, for people like myself who the first thing that they do when they play a game is change the keybindings to something comfortable for them to play, the current lack of any keybinding changing options can be very frustrating. But no fear ! There IS a way to change your keybindings right now, but it's a bit of a hack.
The default keybindings are stored in a file in your landmark install directory named InputProfile_Default.xml
If you just edit the file however, it wont take any changes... this is because the patcher overwrites this file (it is the defaults file, and there is no InputProfile_User.xml saved out currently, like in PlanteSide2)
You can however get around this by following these steps
1) Save off a copy of the XML file to a convenient location (for me I did my desktop)
2) Create a shortcut to open your landmark base install directory in the same location
3) Edit the XML file to change the hotkeys as you desire. I'm an ESDF player, so I changed the keys such that the key that was bound to F is now bound to A and the grapple key that was on E is now on W (so my grapple options are W and R on either side of my forward key) and my WASD is remapped to ESDF
4) Now here's the hack. Open the launcher and patch EQN:L DO NOT HIT PLAY. Make sure auto-play is not selected.
5) with the launcher open and with the play button ready, open your shortcut to the landmark install directory.
6) copy your modified InputProfile_Default.xml file to the landmark install directory
7) hit play, enter game, enjoy your new keybindings.
If anyone wants, my modified ESDF profile is saved out at
http://www.tharkis.com/landmark/Inpu...le_Default.xml
You can use that if all you want to change is from WASD to ESDF.
Next up, I'm working on inverting the Y axis on the mouse. (In planetside2 this was done by adding InvertVerticalLook=1 to the [General] section of UserOptions.ini) this is not working currently in Landmark however, though it does save properly and not overwrite when you patch.
