If you buy the expansion, you'll get LS. However, I don't think it comes with any persona slots. I think you'll have to buy the slots separately. If you bought LS when it came out, it came with a bonus 3 persona slots. But if you buy a later expansion, you don't get the persona slots automatically. This seems to be how it works with other expansion bonuses, like the tradeskill depot. But take this all with a grain of salt. I'm not 100% sure.

That's exactly how it will work.

It's likely cheaper to buy ToB and then purchase whatever persona slots you need.

Hoping to get the level 110 personas I rolled a couple months ago to 125 in the next week! I think it'll be much easier since they quadroupled mob XP for levels 110+.

At level 110 killing a level 112 in Eastern Wastes netted I think 0.286% of a kill. So with Triple XP that'd be about 116 mobs.

I've been leveling a fully new six-box crew from level 1 which was pretty fun, but now that I'm level 110 the high level buffs, shared bonuses (Jann illusion, heroic AAs, etc) are starting to have diminishing value. I think I'm about done with autogranted AAs too and am getting tired of gearing up the party. The party isn't optimized in that it's a melee group with an enc/dru that I'm going to switch out for a brd/shm. So basically I've got this shitty group that can only get powerleveled. I'm thinking about having the 110 rogue switch to the 125 shadowknight persona and have him just clear swathes of mobs in wherever inbetween doing the ole' mission persona swap.

Buddy and me started playing again too and kinda stuck ~106 figuring out what to do. Gear sucks balls which doesnt help so probably just need to invest the time to at least get everyone a full set of lvl 100 gear before pushing further.

As in today? I wrapped up all the RoS hunter achievements except for VP a few weeks ago. I really liked the HS revisit. I’ve been waiting on the exp bump to continue with the new velious expacs.

You can get a full set of 105 gear using TBM currency (Remnant of Tranquility) which will enable you and your buddy to curbstomp Frontier Mountains in EoK.

dont have the funds to buy the amount I'd need or I would. Got some ok gear on SK and using MQ2 plugins for shm/bard/sk so going pretty good in FM. XP bonus just kicked in looks like so leveling pretty fast

I have no idea what you're talking about, lol.

Firiona did get kidnapped by Iksar back in the Kunark days, yes. Most of the time she isn't kidnapped by Iksar, no. Her design is pretty much the same as it was back then, still fairly sexy (for a high elf, anyway).

The art is horrible in that loading intro.

And… it’s not the lack of… mid drift.

But aside from that, its a far cry from the orig trio art.

Now the game, wtf do i do as a level 69 SK with PoP gear lol

We subbed back up as well. We have 3 people in our group with two of those guys with multiple boxes/mercs so we're pretty versatile. We have done GIbbler forever though we have grown pretty bored with it. We are anywhere from 93-100. Is there anything else that's similar to Gibbler? or any suggestions? We've done a little bit of TBM as we heard it was really good for gear going into the 100's (I believe that was reference previously as well) but not sure of the best grind/camp for the levels we are. I think ultimately we are very spoiled with GIbbler. It's so easy in terms of process. Camping the currency and getting the upgrades is super smooth but also fairly repetitive.

Any advice is appreciated. Our primary group is a SK, Bard, Mage, Mage, and then it's whatever we want for fill. Cleric, Druid, Necro, and Beastlord. We pretty well can bring anything and everything to a group. Thanks guys!

Not sure which EW quest it is but some guildies invited me to group, I opened a chest and went from 104 to 108 and snagged a set of 110 gear on my necro. Happy days.

Granted, I have no plat to buy my spells with. What’s the quickest way to make cash? Buy a krono and sell it for 5-6mil in-game?

How does one start as a new player or even returning... the game is completely foreign to me.

I somehow wondered into the void and emo Jesus is like "Its all blown up man, look veeshan is like dead just floating"

I got 1 chrono and 550 station bucks lol

Was at the gym and then I saw this and just held off on a reply. Start on one of the TLP's instead of Live if you dont have a friend group to link up with in the game. That way you're dealing with systems you're familiar with and working your way up, instead. But someone else could be more insightful, sure.

Echoing what Daidraco said, just roll up on TLP. Lot more people to play with and you don't have to learn a keyboard worth of hotkeys, macros, and abilities. Starting at the beginning is cool and all but the first couple eras are kinda brutal. Teek is gonna get PoP in like 2-3 weeks so it's a good time to get on there.
