Is Dragonball Daima any good? Considering I grew up with DBZ, I didn't even hear anything about Daima until today, a month after it started.
Read episode synopsis of the first six episodes and there's like absolutely nothing appealing about it to me. Been waiting for a continuation of DB Super and instead it's some kind of inter-quel series between Z and Super. Also it seems to be remaking the Dragonball GT storyline, with people being turned back into kids and them going out into space to find new 'balls?
If it's a DBGT remake (by Toriyama himself, RIP) that's actually somewhat compelling, see what Toriyama's version of DBGT would have been. However since it takes place between Z and Super, I don't even know if it's possible for it to remake GT, the timeline doesn't match up, no Pan, etc.
So uh...yeah, what is this and who was asking for it? Is the appeal of it solely that it's the last thing Toriyama wrote?

Since Super takes place between Z and GT, does this mean Daima is a sequel to Super? Cause that I'd probably watch. I didn't see anything about Pan though and it said it was "following the death of Dabura" so I assume this means it's right after Z and not 12 (or whatever) years later like GT.

I like Blue Lock, but it really is like reading a manga. There's so little animated motion. It'll be a still image with a ball slowly rolling around while people talk or think out loud.

Yes it's basically in between. I'm not sure how much of gt it follows if any. I think he just wanted to do the kid thing and grab the "spirit" of gt not sure really. Basically go back to the roots of kid goku exploring and getting into trouble and pattin snatch.

Thanks for reminding me to dl danmachi and hitoribocchi. Both are damn good. I wish companies would stop putting shit out on platforms other than CR, so they could get paid. Not signing up for half a dozen different sites for anime.
