It happened at one of my minor settlements yesterday. You get a temporary mission objective to go and assist the settlement, and as far as I could see the game doesn't spawn attackers until you're on site (presumably if you leave it too long it goes ahead without you).

On another note I discovered if when you get the invisible UI bug if you enter and exit VATS it fixes it.

I set some Protectrons to Subway Steward mode thinking it would pacify them into not attacking me. Failed to present subway token and they killed me.

That is some priceless shit.

I really wish the UI would show more info about the modded items you loot, you basically have to go to a bench to learn about the mods they have or figure it out yourself from the million suffixes, some are self-explanatory but most not so. I modded the basic 10mm pistol early on to become automatic (and thus gain the dmg bonus from the Commando perk) and game became considerably easier at Very Hard, i can take on easily super mutants and large groups of lesser enemies, problem is that i go through ammo very fast now even with the Scrounger perk.

Also i am now addicted to Med-X :/ Anyone know a more convenient way than Addictol to cure addiction?

Doc in Diamond City can cure addictions

Read once and you have it permanently. There's a magazine stand, similar to the bobblehead stand, that you can build on your settlement and house them, and they will be on display.

Should be neither. EDIT: I think only the regular accuracy rating, weapon range, PER (and maybe level) affect VATS chances and not things like hip fire/scoped accuracy or recoil.

yeah, like I crafted all my guns for scopes, etc. favoring range/damage... but, its WAY more effective to manually use them. so much so, I def feel like VATS is not making use of those scope mods on weapons.

dont know about "good way" but I definately got hub flower between Sanctuary and the sat tower.

Has anyone set up their settlement to be a great revenue generation system? I know you can grow vegetables, make vegetable paste and get adhesive, and I'm guessing you can make other high-value items and sell them somehow.

I'm almost at a point where I'm going to start really exploring the settlement stuff. Had to run down the core stat bobbleheads and level up to 20 to get my core perk build in place to unlock all the proper skills and shit. Still got 5 levels to go to unlock the first level of all that stuff, then I'm going to try and set up settlements and trade and see if I can't become the new Robert House.

People on reddit are saying the scrapping system is smarter than we thought earlier in this thread. They are saying you don't waste the excess mats when using an item but instead they go to your workbench as pure mats but might take a while to do so???

Either way I don't care, I'm not dropping shit on the grund and scrapping it manually like a chump.


Anyone have good success with the junk gun? I feel like it's fun but too tedious to reload. It's funny because the gravity gun from HL2 did the same thing but so much better

Yeah. It only uses the bits from the whole item that are listed. The remainderdoesend up in your stash after about 3 minutes.
