From reviews seems like the black kid did a good job being johnny storm, hopefully he can weather the storm(not a pun!) and still get other acting roles, like i said previously, the new Falcon/Cap!

Marvel turned Guardians into an awesome movie and Fantastic 4 is not worse source material. Also the Byrne run was good, but I prefer his XMen stuff with Claremont.

The question now is whether or not Fox has done irreparable harm to the F4 brand. Even if Marvel got the rights back, I doubt they'd give the F4 another reboot this decade. At best, they'd give them a cameo or two in other MCU movies.

The only good thing that could come from them getting the F4 back would be if it was in time for them to do Secret Invasion for Phase 4, since I assume the Skrulls are part of the F4 IP. God knows they'll need something decent to follow up Thanos.

From Marvel/Disney's track record they can do no wrong. Even if it went to them we wouldn't see a film for another 5 years anyway.

You're nuts. FF universe is jam packed. Opens them up to more Galactic shit, and more monsters.

Not to mention one of the best Villains in the MU with Doom.

From the sounds of it, just about everything is being panned aside from the acting, which is good since they did pick a great cast with a lot of potential. It'd be shame to Miles Tellers' career end before it's even really begun.

Michael B. Jordon is going to be starring in the upcomingRocky spin-off, so he'll likely live or die depending on how that does. It'd be hard to come back from two major flops in a row. (See: Taylor Kitsch)

I'm pretty sure they want the FF in a Cameo in the next Xmen movie, why? Cameo's make good retweets.

besides how half of us hate how True Detective is going, Taylor Kitsch plays a pretty good PTSDgay, and his action scenes were pretty solid.

With them delivering on Ant-man I can see them making it through Phase 3 without anything bombing, but what are they going to follow up Thanos with? Secret Invasion seems like the best option unless they're going to just abandon the overarching story plan (which seems like a bad idea) but they'd need to get the right back by probably 2018 at the absolute latest.

I don't know the terms of the deal but considering Fox was allowed to keep the IP for 8 years between Silver Surfer and the reboot, I doubt Marvel will ever get the IP back.

We already know what they are following it up with. Inhumans.. That's a whole thing in itself if the royals are involved.

They have to keep making Fantastic Four movies to keep the IP. If they stop Marvel get's it back.

That's how they got Ghostrider. Punisher etc back into the fold. They are too expensive to make just to keep the IP if they are just going to bomb.

Spiderman is a whole different story, that is like having the rights to mickey mouse.

Inhumans is the last movie of Phase 3. Have they actually said they're going to dedicate an entire story arc to the Inhumans?

It's pretty obvious that Inhumans will effect everything in the Marvel U...

I'm hoping they get Doom back to do the original Secret Wars tho.
