I love film scores were you can listen to the score and feel/see the movie.
StarTrek VI - and LOTR:Fellowship are GREAT scores and examples of this, everything is put together masterfully.

Swamp of the Ravens, just kidding. I have an affection for the music used in The Book of Eli and also I always thought the music they used in The Dark Knight Returns, especially the main theme, was pretty good. Huge props to the people that mentioned Requiem for a Dream, that score was amazing.
