There's many people who spend 500-1500$ every week on the new banners. It's insane to me, but I guess some people just have too much money!
It's not really announced very well, but the exploration missions of this lunar new year event reset every day with new chests and missions that give new rewards. Be sure everyone runs the lunar explorations every day all week for the goodies.
The great beast boss fight is a one and done though, only the explorations reset each day.

I'm still pissy I haven't got another zidane yet. Then I watch some of the youtube people doing hundreds of pulls and it takes 50-100 pulls for one to pop up. Same with Ludmill. Stuff like that is what stops me from spending alot of money on the game coupled with the fact I'm steamrolling content with a single 5* base. Seems like a person would be much better buying Lapis for TMs rather than pulling more units.

It's almost a certainty that the next "fan favorite" banner will have zidane featured, and I'm sure he's going to be on the anniversary special banners too (which isn't until this summer).

I'll settle for 2-3 Abels. Daggers are basically universal, and the lower atk will be made up for by whatever materia you use instead. Unless my napkin math is wrong, 10% should be roughly break-even, since it applies to both hands, and any better atk materia would be a bonus. The DW materia I have now will go on the two units that get Excalibur+Sakurafubuki+Blade Mastery.

Used 15 tickets today, no zidane or ludmill. I wanna lapis tm farm but I refuse to do it if I don't have one of those two in the mix.

Started lapis TM farming since I have Gilgamesh. Farming Gilgamesh, 2x Miyuki, Cecil and Ling.
Managed to beat the Elite event boss tonight as well. Got the Esper kill but forgot to have a throwing item in my inventory -____- Given my lack of 6* units (selection) Gilgamesh was my green mage... (Rain, Gilgamesh, Ariana, Exdeath, Luka and a friend's Lightning ). No TM on any character. Had to blow 3 elixers.

So you were lapis refilling? Cause there's no way you could have gotten through the story that fast.
At any rate, in the long run I think the most efficient way to spend your energy right now would be farming crafting mats from the 5 energy daily beast exploration. Pretty ridiculous amount of mats for the energy spent and you'll go through a lot when you start crafting.

Yeah. I tossed a few bucks towards the game. One of the few I can play with one hand... On paternal leave right now so spend a lot of time feeding my son.
