Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius

There's some good stuff from colosseum. I wouldn't farm the blood sword at this stage of the game, but going up to at least ADV B-5 for the survivor helm is worth it (along with the earth keys, recipes, other exclusive gear etc along the way). Sucks to miss a few weeks of arena while you grind colsoseum ranks, but it has to be done at some point if you want the goodies.

Did you get the "hidden" items in the first 3 valentines explorations (cupid robe, sandals, rod)? I think that event ends tonight, so be sure to get em. I doubt you can beat elite yet, even with a whale carry, but maybe! The moogle and 15% atk materia are nice if you can make it happen.

Trials and Farplane can give you some strong equipment. I mentioned the enhancer before, but there's other stuff too. After you kill the white dragon on the farplane, go back into that tower and a new boss will be there (demon chimera). He's also pretty easy, but immune to fire/ice/lightning. Stick to physical and your Lightning should be able to solo him too, rewards Force Armor. The boss after him might be harder (can't bring a friend) but the reward is just the Killer Bow, aka kinda worthless, so skip for now (or try it, Farplane bosses cost 0 energy per attempt).

Back in the Vortex of Trials, I think a whale Noctis could carry you through Surging Menace for the Wizard Rod (best non-tm mage weapon). A properly setup Noctis can carry the 2 headed dragon trial for Grand Helm as well, depending on RNG for the swallow attack. Antonella trial and March of the Beasts trial I don't think can be carried by one unit. Can check full guides on Trials here.

Espers give 1% of their stats to the user, so Ifrit with 5300 attack (when maxed) will give a unit +53 atk for example.

If you go for any of the harder trials, I can setup my Noctis specifically for the trial you're going for.

Awesome thanks. I thought the Cupid trials had a chance to drop those items but I went back in and the treasures were all open still so figured I lost out on the chance ?

Thoughts on if I should go for firion? I'm close to having mats to raise Cecil to 5 star so I was going to max him to 6 star next or I can do ExD or go for firion.

Oh one other thing. Which stat does elemental based abilities use, physical or attack? Like I have thunderaga with her and thunder blitz. First sounds magical spell vs blitz sounds attack based ?

I don't see away to tell on abilities.

The wiki (Lightning) is the main place for that kind of info. Magic uses mag and Physical uses atk, while Hybrid uses both. Thundaga is a magical spell, but Thunder Blitz is physical. Never use Thundaga on her, it's just there for flavor.

Firion's good to have even if you don't use him right away. I'd recommend at least doing daily pulls till you get him.

The special hidden item per difficulty of Trials of Love is in a hidden walkway left of the final dragon boss, but before you leave the zone. Map -- Treasure #9

Get that hidden box in all 4 difficulties, it's a unique treasure in each.

I would stay in the colosseum for the time being because a new team isn't going to do much in the arena so you might as well be productive with your orbs.

Getting your Lightning to 100 should be your top priority.
Cecil is one of the top 2 tanks, so getting him 6* should be your next- although with most content not needing a tank, you might wanna sit him on 4* and level his LB a bit.
Refia is top healer that you can still pull for, so slap Ludmille's dualcast on her once you farm it and she becomes god tier. Same with Cecil - give him dualcast. Oh and for some reason they made Refia the most useless hero in this god damned game until she gets high into her 5* levels and 6* form. She's dead weight until then.
Exdeath is my staple magic dealer for arena and some PvE simply because I don't have a great physical dps yet. Exdeath will be your go-to arena damage dealer with dualcast meteor.
Zidane is only useful for his TM.

I killed death chimera and got 3 Cupid items now (ExD can't use lovely rod wtf?). Surging menence wiped me on 3rd round unfortunely so I'll try later. Going to focus story abit and mayb exploration to get mats to evolve exD or Cecil. I think I have a lot of the 6 star mats but still 20 lols to go on lightening so I guess no rush since cactus's are not plentifully.

Yes, it's rather dumb, but LBs are easier to level at a lower star level.

Rod is Female only and I guess it was decided that the tree is male.

I've got 10k candies and hardly bought anything what so ever. Lightening is lvl 88 6 star and just raised Cecil to 5 star.

Should I blow my candies on giga's to get lightening to 100? Or would there be a better use.

probably your best option is to get lightning to 100 asap. You'll notice the power bump with her innate dual wield. Once she is 100 go ahead and clear the trial for Enhancer and do the solo trial for the 61 atk katana and you'll be on your way to clearing stuff.

I noticed I have all the mats but Farie writs for my Cecil to get him to 6 star. I guess when I get her to 100 that is my next focus. I'll leave Exd just slow leveling to 60 (4 star lvl 40 ATM) to work on LB.

Lvl 40 Refia to 4 star but I'll just let her sit there useless for abit. My red mage with dual cast is at 21% (had duplicates) TM so if I ever start getting moogles I'll feed him before zindiane since my initial team of 5 doesn't need dual wield but sounds like she needs to it to be god healer.

Refia needs Dual Cast, not Dual Wield, to be good.

On ExD so do you think I should focus on getting him to 5 then 6 star before getting Cecil to 6 star (currently 5 star lvl 20) but I have 80 cactus to use since I turned my candy in.

Is 7 or c.Artemis anything to get excited about? Didn't see them on tier lists. I decided to use just 1 summon ticket and got a 5 star Seven so i felt lucky and did an 11 pull on the normal , non banner. I got a ExD 4 star dupe, 5 star c.Art, 4 star Cecil, and another red made with dual cast so I'm up to 25% on TM!

Seven isn't anything to remember iirc. Make sure you keep 2 ludmille for 2x of the tm. Dupe Cecil are always nice for Excalibur. Artemis is bad.

Holy shit dude, calm down on the pulls. No those 5*'s are shit. Save your money for a real banner, you can't even level any of this shit. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
