Wow Elite was, pleasantly, a challenge for once. It took me two runs to get it even knowing that I needed heavy magic. I used Tilith for the no WHM challenge but she's pretty squishy as a 5 star.

4 pulls got me a Jack, 2 Firions and Seven. Seven is new for me and at least she wasn't a Troll Gold but was hoping for at least one Leon. I'm not going to pull too much harder on the banner though if the Gacha change is coming soon.

I'd be shocked if Zidane doesn't win player's choice. I don't need any more of him but still voted him. Voted Agrias for the 4 star and Greg for the 5.

It won't be next week. The last time they did a player's choice banner it was about two or three weeks after voting closed.

It sounds like next week will be Type Zero part 2 actually. There was a leaked news video showing some Global Exclusive stuff which includes big buffs for Queen, a new unit (Olive), the Gacha change and giving everyone a free 10 + 1 pull. That video was yanked pretty fast but here's a link to the highlights

So my guess is Player's Choice early March and Orlandu late March after the Type Zero collection period ends.

Found Elite to be pretty easy w/ Luka. Just took a long time.

Friend Unit Noctis was a pro for reviving people. Trying to decide if I go back to finish the lapis from it. Got the HP+15℅ so I'm probably set.

Also got a Leon so I'm done with this banner.

First ticket, Leon.

14 more tickets later, 2 guys and Emperor. Think that's my first rainbow from a ticket and not a 10+1

Really want another Leon and 2 more guys. Dunno if i will bother leveling Emperor anytime soon.

Is there a reason to keep more than 1 Furion or Warrior of light? I have a decent Cecil and snow that isn't leveled.

I know conventional wisdom is to only do dailies until the last day of a banner but pulling = fun so I spent a couple more tickets.

Got a second Cecil, Guy, Troll Gold Cerius and Leon so satisfied with the results. Although I did accidentally do a 500 Lapis pull which netted me Bedile so that was a double fuck you.

Ling and Tillith made ELT straight up cakewalk. Friend Noctis and Exdeath for the deeps. Used a few Elixirs and Cecil ate the fucking pavement like 10 times with provoke, but one shot it nonetheless.

Did you use Noctis to revive him?

I'm trying to figure out how to get the 15% HP materia...

As long as you don't try to use curaja from Cecil (he basically provokes then guards, for his entire lifespan) none of your other units can cast white magic. I used Noctis for Link and Comeback for when Cecil died (full hp Cecil better than Ling-Revived Cecil)
If i could do it over I'd replcae Elza with another magic DPS unit or maybe Bartz for his life giver. Elza didn't do much other than LB to help kill the bombs on first turn.

Informal poll. Assuming the value of the other units on the accounts are roughly equal including access to dual wield TMs, would you rather have an account with Noctis, Gilgamesh and Ramza, or double Gilgamesh?

assuming you have a couple zidane's on the first one, so noctis gets DW, and ramza if you decide to go the non-mage build (lol), for sure the first one.

If they all have dualwield, Noctis hands down. He's so far above every other unit in the game it's not even funny.

I don't really buy that honestly. Unless you pull a team of like 4 Orlandu or something equally whalish, anyone with Noctis will have him on their team for the next 5+ months, easy.
