I finally completed the story. That last continent the bosses definitely jumped up into not 100% Facerolls at least a few of them (fucking was auto attacking and came to a death screen not realizing it was a boss stage).

Also fucked a 40 win streak in arena because the greatness that is me forgot I had switched to a few rounds of solo exp vortex farming to max out Cecil. Alas he could not solo 3 6 star ExD's

Now that I have the twin exploration unlocked I can get to work on a few more levels on potential units. Evolve mats for 2 4 star and 2 6 stars are holding me back so hopefully they have an event to farm or buy some. I've been fine with not using Ref and just healing with Cecil but I'd really like to get a healer on the team for the hard content.

In the options menu you can set a certain party to always be your arena team, no matter which team you have currently active. Same for colosseum and companion team.

Does that work for defense or only offense?

Fuck yeah. Shine coming in the next banner. Will have TM slots just in-time. Marie, Luneth and Waifu Fina will complete tonight.

Gotta do a few 10+1 on this next banner. Hope for a few Shine and Olive. Will have a use for my fucking pile of Butz.

Long ass maintenance though. What's the over/under on extended maintenance.

Looks like the Gilgamesh trial won't be active on patch day. New banner is kind of meh. Good TM on Shine, but the 3* unit is trash. As an exclusive, we don't know how good or bad the new 5* will be. I'll probably do some daily pulls for Shine, but no tickets. I still haven't pulled a Leon from dailies this banner, and there's only one day left of daily pulls. If I don't get him tomorrow, I may use up to 3 tickets, but not chasing him very hard this close to patch.

Maintenance will likely be extended, which is a good thing. Gimme that apology lapis and tickets plz.

Would appreciate some thoughts on where I should go with a melee team, my magic team is shaping up but on hold abit until I can get some t6 evolve mats.

On the melee based team; I have lightning as my only 6 star max level. I maxxed out 5 star WoL just for short term full breaks if I need him. I don't have Noctis/Gilg/Luneth.

Assuming I want 3 melee, 2 to chain and 1 to finish? I have 2 chiz's (both 4 star unleveled), 4 star Firion , 5 star Dark Cecil, another 5 star lightning, etc. Have most units minus the 3 up top high tier melee's from what I can read.

My biggest question is as evolve mats etc are still pretty high commodity for me, should I wait for the upcoming players banner since odds are I can get at least 1 of the above. Also if Orlandu is on the horizon and god mode, would it make sense to just finish cleaning up my mage based team until those 2 banners are out and start building the top tier melee. Also does Olive have potential of filling a major damage roll even though she isn't a DC candidate (assuming with her TM and I assume weapon is 2 handed?).

Or can 2 lightning's chain well then I just need a strong finisher?

If Olive/Shine are worth it i'll donate $150-200 to the cause if needed to pick them up hoping the RNG gods stay with me. Man if they have an event/vortex where I can get t6 mats any time soon i'll gladly fucking drop some lupis on resets to farm them so I can get these teams where they need to be.

Oh also....the 20M download thing, when you reroll do you have to redownload the game like other games or just clear data? Are those 20M truly 20M unique players downloaded the game or 100k player each having rerolled many times? I still don't understand why arena awards are fixed number ranges...if the player base expands wouldn't it be smarter to scale? So instead of 30k - 90k or whatever one would think top 1% = best, 1-5% = next reward etc etc.

There really aren't that many arena players. If you start arena like 2 weeks into the month you're only at like #115000 or so, and getting to 90k for the moogle is trivial because probably about a third of that number doesn't even do 5 a day. Actually winning 5x a day and not doing anything more almost gets you to 30k for the week.

Rerolling just involves using a fake facebook account. You don't have to re-download the game. While I'm sure there's less than 20 million unique players, someone rerolling 50 times is still just one download. FFBE is rated really highly among mobile games though. I think it's in the top 20 or so? There's ranking sites out there that track that kind of stuff.

We don't know Olive's stats yet because she's exclusive (no foresight from japan). We'll know her stats as soon as servers go down tomorrow and Nazta datamines her info.

My guess is the choice banner is the banner after the one coming. As to should you pull, a better question is are you clearing the highest content in events or struggling? If you're clearing the ELT events, then there's no rush to summon a bunch more unless you're chasing a meta unit.

If Noctis, Gilgamesh, Ramza, Orlandu or something along those lines pops up on a banner, then sure go all in. Don't spend a bunch chasing some mid-tier TMs like Shine's though.

I was going to wait until towards the end of the current ELT to try it as I have plenty of uses for stam at the moment (finally just cleared all the story and have 2-3 explorations to go back to finish). As I don't have a rez on my team yet abit worried on the ELT but I guess I should do one round as a gut check. I was thinking my emp would do well with his sustained build up nuke to start really dropping the bomb and I have my Cecil max and with provoke. I need some calamity gems to get my recent D.Fina to 6 star so she doesn't do shit for me just yet. I'll grab someone's Noctis for rez's and give it a try.

If Olive looks like a top tier damage that isn't a DW I may look to invest in her as I had a lot of Bartz laying around so can fuse and get DH relatively soon. When I get back from a work trip Saturday i'm going to sit down and look at all that it takes to set up macro's etc and probably start more serious TM grinding but I think I need to do some exploration for the account level exp to get a better stam base. Sounds like eventually I need to phase lightning out, but i'll wait until one of the above mentioned comes up.

Just as a FYI, everything currently running ends when servers go down tomorrow for the 2.0 update, so you have less than 20 hours remaining for the FF2 event and banner.

Most events and banners are featured for 1 week, but stay up for an extra week in the background for those who were slow or busy. This FF2 stuff only lasted 5 days, which isn't typical due to the update coming.

Leveled up Ling and Primm, i dont have luka nor Tillith.

Cecil to tank. Escape so i can skip trash. Only casting provoke or focus on boss
Ling, aoe res, aoe cure, aoe give mana, aoe debuff captain (2nd most broken char in game i thinks)
2 poorly equipped exdeaths. Meteor, firaga, osmosis
Companion Emperor, firaga or fire from below

When you see how much Ziss has legitimately spent, it makes you wonder why Gumi allows accounts like Endir's to stick around. (He the one that shows off arena teams with 5 dupes of every 5* unit.) Ziss' speculation was that it's all shady lapis that Gumi probably never received money for, so you'd think they would crack down on that shit, especially if someone did it so blatantly.

fris Check companion for Ring of the Lucii before you start. Make sure you don't cast Libra at all either, that's another one that has tripped people up.

Oh, I misread it that you weren't able to beat it without using white magic, not that you're beating it and not getting credit. As Vorph said, most likely suspect is a Lucii ring on the companion you're bringing. Can still have my Tilith if you want though, even at 5* she's probably better than Primm.
