Nothing special, although in retrospect I was sealing earth. What I meant to do was seal water and handle earth with barstonra.

Bartz had golem staff and chirijiraden and used gale barrage every turn. Golem staff should have been trident, but I got distracted.

Refia had soluna ring and monarch ring, but the soluna ring should have just gone to Ling. Dualcast with Ramuh for her esper to seal thunder after 50%.

Cecil just had standard tank gear with demonic life, around 7k hps 560 def and 220 spr. The risk of leaving light unsealed is that if/when Cecil dies to the threshold, he won't be able to cast provoke the turn you rez him, so depending on RNG Gilg could fuck you.

Ling had noctis ring and monarch ring, along with barstonra. She generally just rotates between mag break, barstonra (if you leave earth unsealed), and invigorating dance, with the occasional entrust or chakra as needed.

Companion Noctis was actually geared about the same as Sinzar's. You want to keep cover up to take some of the sustain pressure off of Ling and Refia, and you use him to seal thunder after 50% on turns when Refia can't.

Easy peazy, lightining did alright consistent 20k damage a round while sealing air/holy/water, emp blew up fast until 50% threshold and then switched to DC of flare & thundaga. Noct just covered once and kept him debuffed and rezzed on thresholds. Had to throttle back for 3 rounds at the end to build up lightning and emp LB. Fucking lightining counter attack almost killed him before I could LB, he had to have like 5 hp so my double LB got me the 5 man + LB achievement.

On NOX how do you target your own people to use dispel?

Sinzar to the rescue lol. Everything was going fine but I had used Bartz to mana battery Sinzar (since I had to seal with Lightning Flask and couldn't jump), then with provoke up Gilg decided that was the turn he should hit Rain with holy which confused him and made it impossible for me to seal Fire/Earth/Wind (could do it with either Bartz or Rain).

This is like I dunno, somewhere under 10%, so I said fuck it, cast embolden with Refia, hit warp break and prayed.

This was the result of that round, no idea how Sinzar survived, but yay!

As retarded as he has been with this fight, it's entirely possible he forgot.

I was able to down Gilgamesh on my 2nd try, all missions. I would have had it on the first but I forgot to seal lightning after the 50% threshold and could not recover. I followed the same tactic and team as Evil Laughter01 on youtube. Actually, my team was a little less geared since I did not craft as many of the new rings. I ran it with Cecil (6.5k hp, 460 def, Golem), Refia (DC, Ramuh), Rain (DW Survival Edge/Excal, Diabolos), Bartz (Chirijaedon, Odin), and friend Noctis (Excal, 880 ATK). DC on Cecil would have made it easier, but it was a pretty well controlled fight. I lost Rain a couple of times during the final phase (stupid cover ability), but luckily was able to seal the right elements between Bartz and Noctis' lightning flask. Bartz was the MVP of this fight with his dispel (Fingersnap) and Life Giver. Obviously, could not do it without Noctis leading the damage. Cecil basically just did provoke and guard the whole fight and he was targeted for KO at 2/3 transitions.

T turbo I was having some trouble with Nox and FFBE crashing every hour or two this weekend. I had to go into the FFBE Options and disable all of the battle and game effects and it has been running stable for 16 hours. I am using the no refill ultimate macro. Did you resolve your Nox crashes?

Nice of you to offer, but I don't think it would help. I've been relying entirely on Sinzar's Noctis for DPS because I don't have any units that come remotely close to the kind of damage he can put out. I think I might try to get my first Dual Wield and see if that helps me out.

No I got abit busy and lazy this weekend so I didn't try switching emulators. I'll try disabling all that and see, its very sporadic....it will crash sometimes within 10-30 minutes and others run a few hours but have never not had it crash over a long duration. I also mix the lapis and non lapis macro, lapis one seems a lot more prone to crashing.

Working on Emp, Dark F, Chiz (my 2nd), Ramza, and Gaff (my 2nd, with HP+attack seems too good not to have 2). Between 25-75% done on this batch (DF had some prior time spent on her so she is ahead).

I'm thinking next 5 will be my 2nd Ramza, Marie, 2nd Emp (for DW emp rapeness), and probably 2 stat material (2 shines or possibly something with 30% magic as Emp is using a lesser one in a slot). Alternatively I have 2 DKC's I haven't got to yet that I eventually would like.

Olive is close to BiS once I get this current batch done. I'll have Sparky, Black Cowl, Brave Suit, Bracer X 2 (she is using champ belt atm), and for abilities DH, Quick Assault, +30% attack and Innocence. I'll probably get Queen's TM now that I think of it to replace innocence since HP is a wonderful thing to supplement her attack.

Damn Turbo, I feel like you came out of left field and have a shit load of TM's already. Also, I would prioritize your DKC's....Deathbringer is so good.

I don't like to spread my time & resources around FFBE is my kind of game so I made a fairly decent investment to get where I felt caught up (ultimately its all relative and in your head but oh well). Don't think my competitive and semi impatient nature could handle another game! I am finding myself with time to fill and can't find something that fills the void while macro's are running. I've been a long time Smite player but something just isn't seeming to click for me this season and its hard to get into. I know I don't want an MMO as I swore those off years ago so FFBE was supposed to give me my "long term" development and time investment game.....alas void is still there.

I got a lot of combines for TM's when I hard pulled for Olive and had shit for fucking luck. I'm running lapis burns off and on but will taper off here after the next round. I had such awesome luck on Emp, Maria (actually 1st pulled queen and pulled 2 ramza's in 5 11 pulls) so I've had some awesome luck with my 2 big spends as well (olive and when I started the game just trying to round out the base).

TMR farming is 90% of FFBE unfortunately - so if you want another game you can pay attention to or put your resources to use and close the app, I'd check out Alliance. It's similar to Summoners War with a lot of QoL changes. The devs even talk to the playerbase in-game, which is kinda nice.

Edit: Oh and it's less than a month out of beta, so no catching up necessary.

How is its player base? I made the mistakes of trying medal masters (?) a year or so ago and wasted a decent chunk of change to realize it was such a fucking joke of a game and player base started dwindling which scares me as real dollar investments i'd like to see these have some level of staying power (FF name and well known publishers give it a good shot). I was number 1 in the world on medal masters and spent a fraction of what any of the top whales wasted which I liked since there was some decent strategy but just had to pull the plug. I can't play these games free to play no matter what I tell myself so I just need to stay content with FFBE which I will be for what its worth, maybe I will start looking around an MMO I guess as its been 4-5 years (think I have a 500 dollar Crowfall KS). Once I get the 2 batches of TM's done i'll be caught up to a level i'm comfortable with and have very strong magic and melee teams. No noct/ling so support is abit weaker but other then that golden and good Ramza for future proof support when/if enhancements come so I can just chill and enjoy.

Sure i'll find something to assist and I travel for work off and on so nice to jump into a mobile game. Just need to make it through Orlandu banner with the same luck I've had on most (fuck you olive~) to get 2 of him and i'll rejoice.
