Took out Gilgamesh ELT for the moogle with 2/3 missions (he bursted down Agrias near the end, which failed the flawless mission). I'd say the ELT bridge is about on par with Antonella, and if you can kill the flower, this one shouldn't be much trouble. Even going with an undermanned team he died decently quick with only an average Lightning friend (~520 atk I think). Guess now I have 1-2 weeks of spare time to finish up the story, go back and knock out the last bit of old content missions, and finally get back to TM farming (or crystal farming).

used my tickets on this banner, got a 2nd Exdeath and 2nd CoD. Just got my 1st one a week ago, lvl 95. aside from using all my cactuses, his equp pool is pretty weak. I don't know how people get his attack so high.

w/ the black friday bonus, i decided to buy some lapis and do a 10+1. Gilgamesh. I can't complain about my luck in this game except for my inability to pull a Zidane so none of my attackers will ever get dual wield.

Er, you should take a look at what Gilgamesh's TM is... :p

Also why do JP players keep talking about needing to hit Gilgamesh with like 5 different elements (Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Light) every turn? I don't see any mention of that in the strategies on the GL wiki. (Edit: Nevermind, that's for the trial not this event.)

2* carbuncle is an interesting utility esper. Bar-ra for the three common elements along with cura, and that light resist sure will be helpful on the Maxwell trial.

I finally took the time to figure out how to use Macros with Memu. I've got 1.6% trust to go before Ludmille hits 10% for Dual Cast. I've got 90% worth of Moogles so I'll dump them here first. It seems Dual Cast for Refia is practically essential so it makes sense to get that one first.

My other choices to finish, immediately would be:
Lenna's healer staff
Excalibur - Would got to Bartz
Rising Sun - CoD
Sakurafubuki - Chizuru
Doublehand- Several

So Dual Cast right?

I've found dualcast to be incredibly useful for the recent trials. Weapons raise dps, but most of the time a whale friend can carry the dps load for encounters. Having a healer keeping the team alive is more useful imo.

I get Tilith's 6* has mana regen stuff, but I'm having a hard time seeing how she can function as a healer when so often in fights I have to both heal + res in the same turn, and Tilith is limited to one action per round.

If you don't have a Zidane, then yes use moogles to immediately finish Ludmille. Dualwhatever is so ridiculous in this game.

Did three pulls on this banner. No Gilgamesh of course, but I got 5 Exdeath, and a few useful TM characters like Hayate and Gaffgarion. Only had enough cactuar to get one to 6* lvl 82 and another to 5* lvl 70. One Exdeath and a Kefka w/ dualcast and ultima has been wiping out teams in arena within 1-2 turns every time. Can't wait to finish leveling the rest of the Exdeaths.

I don't think anyone really uses 1 Tilith. It's a pair of them healing the other 4 units for 5k hp and 100 mp per turn, and half of that to each Tilith. Since the heal is fixed you build her for max MP (~450). There's usually a Cecil who can dualcast a Curaja if the 2.5k heal isn't enough for the Tiliths. With a full team of 6*'s it's unlikely anyone will ever die, so they just whittle down the boss with dps+breaker and a whale using abilities that cost 45-60 MP without a care.

And yeah, I don't think it's possible to lose in arena if you have Exdeath plus some sort of support like more Exdeath(s), CoD with Sunbeam, and/or Edgars. Doesn't matter if you lose the coin toss, the AI is too retarded to take advantage of it. I used to avoid fighting anyone in the rank 95-105 range but now I just don't care. I had some whale team kill one of my Edgars and even that didn't matter, still killed 3 and petrified 2 on my turn. Naturally this time when there's maybe a shot of getting into the 3k bracket I had the game crash and lost my streak.

the weekly bracket really doesnt mean shit, it's the monthly bracket where the difference between top 3k and top 30k is significant.

I've been using about 20 of my 24 orbs a day (I don't wake up to use them or anything crazy). I've only lost about 3-4 matches since arena came out, and I almost always challenge teams that are 1.1 points or higher. I'm currently ranked 4610 for monthly.

I don't think it's possible to break 3k monthly without lapis refreshing. Too many whales taking the spots.

I got crazy lucky on this banner, my luck in general lately has been insane. I picked up another Zidane AND Gilgamesh! Now the grind to get both to 100% should be fun...and another Blade Mastery...so many TMs to work on!
